    Roxie not long after I pulled a bark scorpion out of her mouth. Thankfully she managed to kill it without getting stung. Imagine my surprise when I figured she was just chewing leaves/rocks again. A rare sub 100 degree day today with lots of rain in the morning must have flushed it out.

    Yep! They are litter mates.  Dad was a long hair chocolate and tan, mom was a short hair (smooth) silver dapple.  There can be many different colors and both long and short hair pups in the same litter.  In this case, all the other puppies besides McCready were chocolate and tan like Dad, but all were short hair like mom.  McCready had dad's long hair, but a combo of mom and dad's colors.
    (I'm told McCready will end up likely with "medium" hair, not so flowy as many longhair doxies that you see.  Time will tell but i hope they are right!  We wanted both to be smooth but fell in love and had to have him!) 
    Interestingly, i believe that a short hair can mate with another short hair and still produce long hair pups if one of the parents had a long haired parent...

    so to answer your question- YUP!  No milkdogs here!

    Hey guys its Sen! Been a while since Matty has been in this thread! here are a couple pics. His 10th birthday is coming up! 
    He thought the Mystery box was for him! :o He got the Bark Box instead!

    Seamus and I watching Roxie goof around. Well except for the first pic anyways. Seamus can still get pretty goofy himself.
