Well hello to the somewhat concerned-looking sweetheart!

I was sick in bed all day today and every time I woke up, there was Marshall cuddled up to me. At bedtime, he dutifully went to sleep with the kids. He is so sensitive and sweet and always knows where he's needed most. 
At his previous home, he was kept in a kennel 12-14 hours a day and never walked or played with. Our neighbor rescued him but he kept going to our door. She couldn't keep him and we weren't in a position to get another dog but we had him over one day. He immediately found the food and water bowls and then laid down on the couch as if he's lived here all along. He belonged with us, without a doubt. One year later he's such a different dog...calm, happy, so sweet and loving. So glad we get to be his forever family.

I'm watching an old ep of Pitbulls, and some asshole(s) beat a dog with a bat or stick, then shot her with a pellet gun.  And more.

Despite all that, as is true to the breed, she is a sweet and trusting pooch.  Gentle eyes, loving demeanor.

*edit - she wasn't adopted as I assumed she'd be.  No fault of her own but damn.  Like Tia just said, it just wasn't her time.

While we wait for pics of the mystery puppy, here's another of Roxie with her favorite ball. Took this one this morning. 18 weeks in 2 days. About 28 lbs already.

Yes I'm waiting to see whatever Rob has been teasing. My better half wants to get Roxie a friend that can match her energy. I'm on the fence.
