Brandi had her weekly cast change today. The Dr said all is going well from what she can see/tell, which is good. They put a even softer cast on it this week that was the right thing to do. This little dog can escape and be gone in a flash, and she doesn't need to be doing that (running), but everything always doesn't work out perfectly. Oh well, all I can do is keep doing what I've been doing and hope for the best. Just feel bad for her, for this happening at such a young age.
It may seem tough for her to go through this at a young age, but that's really in her favor. She will heal more quickly. Pretty soon, these pictures will be all you'll have to remember this by.
I know if it had to happen, it was better for it to happen early in her life, then later. It isn't tough for her, she's a little trooper. I'm the one it's tough on. Your correct, soon in the future, it'll be like it never happened, and only the pics will be the reminder.
Depends on wether they are Alaskan , Siberian, or American ( the smallest ones). It also depends on what she is crossed with. But generally, yes, they are Huskier. ( )

unfortunately we dont know but we think the vet said possibly kelpie however you spell that.. shes a sook but at the same time vicious lol and doesnt like men much
Brandi went back to the Dr today. The Dr removed the cast/splint. She has to go back in 3-4 weeks to have a x-ray done, to make sure the bone isn't getting infected from the plate and screws.
So, far she hasn't put any weight on the leg, she has just been 3 legging it. Hope all is well, just don't like to see her not putting any weight on it, she was with the cast/splint on. Hate seeing her like this.
Came into the kitchen and noticed that Brandi decided she wanted to lay on her little bed flipped over, instead of the normal way.
