    Okay dog people, I have to post this again - haven't you always wanted a photo of your dog in a (semi) famous small online literary magazine? Of course you have. And here's your chance.

    ALL DOGS SHOULD HAVE WRITERS.

    Some of you might know a friend and I started a magazine, Hot Valley Writers (because we live in the San Fernando Valley where it's really hot) and it's been up and running for a couple years. We've been lucky to have plenty of forum members writing for us.

    But our Fall Issue will have an ALL DOG THEME. We need fiction, non-fiction, and/or poetry about DOGS. And we'd love to use photos of your dogs. Write a memorial piece about a dog who's passed away. Or tell a funny story about a current dog. Whatever, we're open to just about anything. Submission guidelines are on the site. Check out the site, any questions, please PM me.

    But please please please think of contributing something. It'll be great to see how many PJ dog fans we can have in the issue.

    Very moving. Nearly brought me to tears (missing Hankie too).

    This 19 year old Shep being cradled in his father's arms last night in Lake Superior. Shep falls asleep every night when he is carried into the lake. The buoyancy of the water soothes his arthritic bones. Lake Superior is very warm right now, so the temp of the water is perfect.
    I was so happy I got to capture this moment for John. By the way, John rescued Shep as an 8 month old puppy, and he's been by his side through many adventures :).

    Thanks Pandora. I had a big 40th Birthday party with lots of family and friends :D

    My family got me a mandolin and my some of my friends got me a drum kit so I have lots to learn!! :mrgreen:
    I can't go the library anymore, everyone STINKS!!
