And here's him swimming in our areas retention pond during 'rehab' for his knee a couple of years ago. Fun times - I had to go in with him so he didn't run in and out of the pond!
We had our friends and family there on Saturday to drink a toast and celebrate with us and a bear showed up! While I see them all the time, some of our family and friends never do, it was very exciting for them, and for hubby and I...it let us know....we bought the right land! I am hopeful that Petey will live long enough to get to live on the property and enjoy it.
norm got a new collar today (along with a trip to the groomers, hence the ribbon )
i know that someone here will have a fit when he sees it

How's Charlie doing these days?
Charlie is doing good. He is deaf now so we use sign language. He has some growths appearing also that come with being an elderly bassett or corgi mix. The Doc has suggested we just leave them alone. His appetite is very good and he loves his new "steps" we bought to the bed and sofa. He's a loving little guy and puts up nicely with the 5 girls in the pack, they all seem to adore him.

my pups had an AWESOME weekend. with all the gorgeous weather, we were all outside, all day, every day. grandma came to visit on sunday for the holiday, and the pups just love grandma!

Ms. Chloe had an accident upstairs in the house and I yelled at first and then saw some traces of blood in the urine :(
We have a Vet appt tomorrow for her..hopefully its just an infection

No results yet for Chloe on the urine sample..hopefully today...she's currently taking her antibiotic
The vet called and said nothing was found in her urine
She said continue the antibiotic and if she still seems like she is going a lot more after the AB we can bring her in for an x-ray on her bladder and kidneys
Shes been fine as far as playing and eating..we should have gotten insurance on her when we got her :roll:

chloe had a day of beauty yesterday; a bath, a shave, mani-pedi and tooth-brushing. she looks like a puppy again whenever she gets shaved down, and she's 10! i'll have to try and snap a pic this week, she just looks TOO CUTE! and yea...she smells so GOOD, she definitely was overdue for the bath. :?
