    While I hate any laws telling people what to do with their own bodies, I really wish there was some sort of birth control thing that accompanied welfare.

    I have no problem with my tax dollars helping people/families who have fallen on tough times, but the idea of welfare mothers having more and more kids and getting more and more money for it really bothers me. Once you've shown that you can take care of the kids that you have, then you can have more.


    Maybe I will e-mail Jim Bob to see if I can get a job... having one kid is expensive enough, I gotta find out how he affords to support 237 of them.

    I think that really is the most annoying fact about that family. I drove past their new house once and though it was a hotel until my husband informed me it was their house. O.o

    in defense of myself, i said later that i wasn't talking about the duggars in that case, just pointing it out on a bit of a tangent that someone else mentioned money. :)

    I mean, they seem a tad bit slower than modern society, but they also seem like they are really good people.

    Hell, at least good people are procreating 20 billion times.. could be worse, I suppose.

    I love them, too...and find them fascinating. I can't say I agree with all of their philosophies, but I do like them. And, like you said, they seem like they are really good people.
