Cool deal. So when you see Happy 28th Birthday Matt on the Garden Vision, you know who its going out to! I'm still curious why they needed exactly where I'm sitting. I'm thinking either a seat upgrade, partaking in some on ice thing between periods, some kind of gift, like a puck, or just being shown on camera or something.

    LETS GO RANGERS!!!

first off, happy birthday, matt- & many more. !

    28 ?

    you're still a young pup ! ;)

oh and they wanted your seat info so that the portable camera crew can make their way to your seat during the intermission ( i think it might be the first intermission but they mix it up ) and of course along with your name and stats on the gardenvision- they'll put your image up there also , receiving a little NYRanger gift bag- wiith all sorts of little goodies.

when my girfriend got me this for my b-day, the Garden also sent a photo of this on the scoreboard and it arrived like 6 weeks later .

Cool deal. My brother got his name up there for his 30th, but not with anything else. My mom managed to snap a photo of it up on the Garden Vision. They did send his fiance a signed puck by Adam Graves a few days later as a thank you for buying 20 tickets at once.

And just a side note, I share a birthday with Matt Cameron, so you know thats good company!

Thanks for the B-Day wishes. What an excited, yet heartbreaking game. I'm too exhausted to get into a detailed analysis (damn train rides back to LI), but here's the pic of my name on the Garden Vision, it was definitely the highlight of the night! I also got a little gift bag with a hat, a t-shirt that'll never fit me, some oversized player stat cards on Jagr, Straka and Hollweg, and a Rangers folder! Plus the little bag!

well, at least 1 point is better then none- ( even tho that would spoil your birthday )

and definitely agree with x ,

    the defense is suspect.

    Ozolinsh , is still horrible.

does Ozolinsh do that much better then him ? ( insert sarcasm here )

and its obvious where Tyutin has learned to throw those hip checks we have been seeing the last few games....his fellow countryman .( ok he's lithuanian- but he speaks russian also )

but you can go, get arrested for D.W.I. after your team is swept in the frst round of the playoffs,
come back the next year, as if nothing is wrong , and this is what you can do :

.......................GP G A PTS +/- PIM SOG PPG GWG GTG SHG %
    Sandis Ozolinsh 17 0 3 3 .....-5 ...8...12 ..0......0.....0......0..0

we all knew this was coming

and oh how ironic the timing

    should the isles win tonight,

( something tells me even they can beat Philthy-delphia )

we are tied for 1st in our division.

should provide the perfect flavor to some tasty games this december ...

Isles blow the game- lose 3-2.
so for tonight, right now, we are still in sole possession of 1st place .

Now, if only we can actually grab 2 regulation points against these Sabres. This is the final meeting of these 2 teams, and Buff has gotten away with the majority of points / wins .

We surrendered 2 games with 2 or more goal leads against them, but were only able to salvage 1 point . ( twice ) .

Plus, they havent played since Sunday , when they last faced us in NYC . So they are well rested .

And how huge are the Isles games going to be ? Battling for 1st in the division with the cross town rivals - this is gonna be good !

i think weekes will prove to be a great piece of the pouzzle if they can straighten out other issues ( lackadaisacal defense- sandis ozolinsh )
he also provides an extra " incentive " for henrik to excel .
great backup goalie in weekes .

every time the Ranger games are spilled over onto an extra channel- to cover MSG 2 ,( on my system its ch 60- and it takes over for c-span, which was working just fine when i turned it on at 7:25pm . ) i lose the transmission of the games. This sucks, they have balls to charge what they do for cable. No wonder people are leaving in droves for 18 inch satellite dishes .

This is crazy . Id like to blame it on the tornadic activity in my area tonight, but only every other channel is crystal clear .

Conveniently enough, the " complaints " links on the Timne Warner website are out of order.

I know my situation is not an isolated incident- its all over the NYR message boards, as well .

    two thumbs down, time warner.
