    was a great magical run.

looks like Richards is already headed out of town by way of Amnsety filing.
Lots of both restricted and unrestricted agents this summer,

i hope we can bring back Stralman, Boyle, Poopalot, Hagelin and of course Zucc.

from what im reading today Boyle will be a goner. He wants more of a top role.?
He was so improved from when under Torts.
He was our shorthanded faceoff man too.

very proud of this ranger team and couldn't have asked for more as fan. who honestly would have thought this team would have won the eastern conference (or even had a shot at the conference) as we were gearing up for a first round match up against the flyers? i still think they are very lucky they didn't have to face boston. i envision that series would have been pretty similar to what we dealt with in the finals, or maybe even worse.

the rangers need SIZE. that should be their priority in the off season. while nash has been a disappointment he is a physical beast. the rangers need his size and AV needs to find a way to utilize him properly. i wouldn't be as quick to dismiss him as i would with richards.

if this team wants to be mentioned in the same breath as the bruins, kings, blackhawks they need to get bigger. put a physical hurting on your opponent, win loose puck battles, win pucks in the corner and behind the net, cycle the play and make things happen.

and how about henrik lundqvist? is he the most important NYC market athlete right now?

i recommend you guys follow Ranger Nation on facebook if you don't already. they provide fantastic updates:

    - It was revealed that Dan Girardi was playing with a dislocated finger in Game Two of the SCF, but trainer Jim Ramsey popped it back into place and Girardi said he was healthy the rest of the way.

    - AV said some of his players were "banged up" but that none of them requires off-season surgery. This says a TON about the system employed by AV compared to that of Tortorella. The Rangers were extremely healthy in the playoffs and was a significant reason why they advanced as far as they did.

    - There were a few players who did not meet with the media on break up day, one of them being Brad Richards. The others were Martin St. Louis (who was attending a parent-teacher meeting and arrived late) and Daniel Carcillo.

    - AV on Richrads: "I’m very happy what he brought to the table – a veteran player from Day 1 was a real good extension of the coaching staff in that dressing room. So, I think he should walk away from this season very pleased with how he played and how he contributed to our team. As everybody knows, there’s decisions to be made and we haven’t made those yet, so we’re going to talk and figure it out.” So, obviously, no decision on Richards yet. Nothing too much to read into at this point. There is a lot of talk about a possible buyout. Teams have until June 30th to exercise that option.

    - AV expressed desire to have more youth infused into lineup. Gotta love that.

    - There is a possibility that Ulf Samuellsson lands a head coaching job somewhere. Carolina is said to be interested.

**Many of these updates courtesy of Andrew Gross, Pat Leonard and various other beat writers**

Turns out Girardi had a broken finger,
& Cam Talbot broke his hand during Montreal practices.

From what I've been reading Richards is a buy out option, dont know if he will be back .

Richie is 100% gone. I'm hearing a possible Matt niskanen arrival in NYC for the dreaded pp point man. We dnt need to gut the team, just tweak it some. We have the core, now we need to bring in some rite pieces of the puzzle.

I'll be at Cinci , Detroit and Denver-
maybe we can meet up and enjoy a beer for our Rangers in '15.

I fear we may lose a few of our key role players.

must keep that Zucc-Brass-Pouliot line in tact.

I'm still not over the Stanley Cup. There should have been a game 6. Not saying we were definitely going to win the series. But that still hurts.

A bounce here and a bounce there and we mite of won the series. We lost in 5 but it was a real close 5, that's why I think it hurts so much. It's like we're still waiting for the finals to start....

    Poopsalot is GONE.

    5 years at Edmonton?

5 years ! ? ! ? There was no way we were matching that and keeping him.
