    After all these years of suffering, I'm FINALLY going to a cup final involving my team! (Saw devils few times). Can't wait for game 3 msg!

    I think our speed will kill the kings! And how fucken fitting, the REAL king gets to face the kings of LA! And I believe Quick grew up a rangers fan, think he named his daughter Madison too.

    81 told me it's gonna be a (quick) series for the kings! I say rangers in 6!

    a few major things hockey "experts" are forgetting when they predict the finals (how cliche, pick against the rangers ESPN)...

    1) the rangers have been the best road team in the NHL this season. won games 5 and game 7 on the road in pittsburgh. won games 1 and 2 in montreal last series. i am more than comfortable with them starting in LA
    2) vigneault knows this kings team very well after coaching the canucks for so long.
    3) henrik fucking lundqvist will steal this series. the kings took crawford 7 games, wait until you face a real goaltender and a defense that actually clears the crease and net.

    quick was a huge ranger fan growing up and idolized mike richter. so he is kind of hard to hate in my book. 81 still spreading sour grapes :(|)

    New York, June 3, 2014 – The New York Rangers will host a free outdoor Viewing Party presented by Chase and Fan Fest presented by Coca-Cola Zero at Bryant Park on Wednesday, June 4 for Blueshirt fans to cheer on the team as they take on the Los Angeles Kings in Game 1. Fans that come out will have the opportunity to participate in hockey themed contests on a 32’ X 64’ synthetic ice hockey rink to win Rangers prizes. Fan photo stations, face painters, giveaways and Rangers alumni appearances will also be going on throughout the night to keep fans entertained.



    The doors will open at 4:00pm and stay open until the end of the game. MSG Network pre-game coverage and the live game coverage on NBC will be shown on a 30’ X 18’ big screen TV. Throughout intermissions, live entertainment will take place on a 33’ X 24’ stage. Legendary Rangers National Anthem singer John Amirante will be there to sing the anthem, Rangers PA announcer Joe Tolleson will be making live in-game announcements and the Rangers goal horn will be ready for every Rangers goal scored.

    as long as this is a series (which all signs point to it being a close one) he will be a healthy scratch. but if things spiral a little bit for the rangers i can see him getting inserted to try and spark something...
