I don't have a problem with this signing, he's in the prime of his career and has been fairly productive for the Kings - 168 goals in 536 games.
also cant coplain about his being 6-2, 210-pounder .
Not bad : Frolov has surpassed the 20-goal plateau in five of his seven NHL campaigns, including two 30-goal seasons in 2006-07 and 2008-09. Frolov, 28, has skated in 536 career regular season contests with the Los Angeles Kings, registering 168 goals and 213 assists for 381 points, along with 210 penalty minutes. He has recorded 24 multi-goal games in his career, including three career hat-tricks.

Newest Ranger joins Avery as guest on Thursday's 'Knicks Night Live'Wednesday, 07.28.2010 / 8:27 PM / News newyorkrangers.com
Rangers fans won't have to wait long to see new Blueshirts forward Alexander Frolov on the MSG airwaves.
Frolov, who signed with the Blueshirts as an unrestricted free agent on Tuesday, will join Rangers teammate Sean Avery on Thursday night's broadcast of "Knicks Night Live", hosted by MSG's Al Trautwig.
The two Rangers forwards, who were also teammates in Los Angeles from 2003 to 2007, won't be talking too much basketball with the "Knicks Night Live" panel. Instead, the hockey stars are expected to discuss Frolov's joining the team, the adjustment athletes must make when relocating to New York from other cities, and what it's like to play in the nation's biggest local market.
The show airs from 8 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a re-broadcast beginning at 10 p.m.

i know the threashers needed a tough guy... but he isn't a tough guy anymore
thank you atlanta
They bought him out on arrival anyway.
a friend of mine posted this :
I can't figure out how slats got ATL to take the deadwood of brashear and rissmiller? I wonder if he tried to peddle redden too. The rangers could use some used pucks in return.
Not only that...but we get rid of two contract and only take back one (there's a limit of 50 guys that you can have signed with access to the big Club... it's a CBA limit)
