only if they can re-sign hossa. hossa has not made his living a big playoff performer statistically.

why stupid? I think it's a good deal.

Christiansen isn't much.. and Therrien hates him.
Armstrong is a great energy guy and will be missed in the room
Espo? sorta overrated, and would never make the team as a center


If they can sign hossa for a couple of years, it's a great deal, but even as a rental not bad.

I've maintained all along that the Pens will win at least two of the next four Stanley Cups.

As much as I liked Colby and Erik, and assuming that they can kepe Hossa for at least another year, I think this is a great move and puts them at an even higher level.

Just think, they're two points back for the conference lead and will have Crosby and Hossa added to the mix very soon.

as much as i like colby, he was pretty much a bust at this point (his girlfriend is really hot though). christensen has gone backwards this year. our first rounder will be late. i don't like esposito in that deal, but if we can keep hossa it was worth it.

Hossa-deal is pretty good for both. He wasn't going to resign with Atlanta so they got something to use immediately and in the future as well. Hossa will help Penguins this year a lot in the otherwise really mediocre east and probably help them make a good run in the playoffs. Gill isn't bad as a safety in their own zone either. The question will be goaltending for sure. Also getting Hossa to sign will be difficult and i'm almost sure it's a rental so pretty expensive, but still with Malkin and Crosby they have plenty to rely on next season as well.
