Mangini didn't institute the video taping practice until the 2004 season, so only the Eagles victory can be questioned. And they were up 10 and back doored to 3 in that one.

they are better than ever... did you see moss burn 4 guys? that was comical... i actually laughed out loud ;)

and yes they were always close games... but what if the opponents were also stealing signs at the time? then it was a level playing field

and you can't prove the pats were doing it... and i can't prove the opponents were doing it... so all we can do is go to the record book... and I still see 3 Ws on the last sunday of the year :)

How about our Offensive line is really good? they didn't have the tape to go over... so how can you adjust when you have no data? I will say I was shocked how much time Brady had... it sure did look odd

and as for our defense performing well... I don't think anyones said we're stealing offensive signals... yet ;)

we'll see sunday night what happens... although the chargers are much better than the jets... i still expect a pats W

I'm not saying the Jets would have won, but you'd be pissed too if the shoe were on the other foot. I can't prove that other teams are not doing it, but the Pats have been warned specifically!! They were accused of this very thing vs the Packers..those are the facts..

it's amazing how you continue to argue this point without admitting that you have no proof that it was being done

nor do you have proof that both sides weren't doing it

i get it... people hate the Pats...

umm... I don't think LDT is the one thinking up our motto?

he can't even get himself an original nickname

i hope he gets fuckin LIT UP on sunday

sucks that he actually has talent too ;)

i look forward to him trying to dance on the patriot at midfield if they win... because you know one of those clowns will try it... probably merriman the fuckin juice head

although they'd have to win first...

things reported in the media aren't necessarily "facts"

Interesting comment in that you can use the word "hate" over a football team in a sport you've said you're oblivious to. As much as I love Boston and all is sports and as much as I will root against NYC area teams I would never ever use the word "hate".

This is only sports they're are good people and bad people in both cities. "Hate" is such a strong word is it possible for you to come up with something else? I gather you true feelings on the city of Boston of will never ever change though.

Good luck to you, have a nice day, rumour has it it's possible.

Ahhh we've gotten to the kruck of the matter and like said before if the Patriots were at the bottom of the barrell none of this would be an issue. You and your J E T S will have an oppertunity to redeem themselves.

Good luck the J E T S are desparately gonna need it.

Lou, the Pats were accused of doing this against the Packers..It's been documented and the team was warned. Perhaps this is what prompted the warning for the entire league? I don't know..

What I read (which may or may not be gospel) is that the Packers said nothing last year because they didn't want to seem like whiners after being beaten 35-0, they escorted someone out of the stadium, and only mentioned it to the league Monday after this most recent incident. So the league wide memo doesn't necessarily stem from that one incident. It certainly goes deeper than the Pats, they just got cockyt and got caught. I wouldn't doubt an ulterior motive since it forced Mangini to play the role of rat.

Here's a link to the article with the Green Bay paragraph shown:

    http://www.bostonherald.com/sports/football/patriots/view.bg?articleid=1031206
As a result, he was rarely questioned publicly. When the Green Bay Packers caught the Pats stealing signs last year, they didn’t complain to the league in no small part because they didn’t want to whine after being dominated, 35-0, by the Patriots.

he is a fake bum yea mastermind,, lol right

i could be one also if i knew what was coming

i think the jets should of run a play towards the sideline and the knocked the shit out of the camera guy b4 taking the tape,, that would of been great

Just a quick question then, if he is a bum and not a mastermind, was he a bum in NY for the Giants Super Bowl victories as well?

I mean we've all seen Parcells not be able to win without Belichek. So obviously his defense was to key to the Giants Super Bowls.

Also, I'm not familiar with the Pats and their coordinators, but does Bill have anything to do with playcalling or does he leave it up to his offensive coordinator? As it has been shown they were only taping defensive signals so how does this affect Bill's coaching at all - except for the fact that he sanctioned and allowed it to happen. It's not like he's calling in the plays to Brady himself from the sidelines. To the best of my knowledge, he's only involved in the defensive side of the ball.
