  • No, I'm choosing the car that I have personally test drove before it was out the market for the masses. The car that I worked with and got to know and am comfortable with.

Now go ahead, call me a blinded by the media or a sheep. That's all you have. I think my above statement proves that your theory does not apply here.

Whatever you say. I hold reservation on your personal epiphany. Starstruck might be a better explanation.

Obama comedown syndrome is going to be a hard pill for you to swallow when the time comes.

edit: I should add, I'd like to see the time machine you fabricated that allows you to test drive the future of the world before it occurs. Sounds more like pre-conceived daydreaming to me.

Yeah, what the fuck do I know I was only worked for the Illinois Senate. I guess I was just daydreaming that commercial shoot I organized for then State Senator Obama in my hometown.

The difference between you and I Roland is that I get out and do the work on political campaigns. I've been on every level of a political campaign from the very bottom working for free to managing campaigns. You on the other hand spew bullshit on a bands message board about candidates for President, when you yourself vote for a Prime Minister.

That's great I can see you're biased quite readily towards Obama saving the world for you. You are smitten by him, and the possibilities of what he might be able to accomplish if that were at all possible given the circumstances of his approach.

History on the other hand paints a different reality.

I like how history shows us the truth of the matter.

Says the guy who thought Ron Paul would be an effective President and get things in DC. If you think Paul would get more done than Barack Obama, or any other candidate still standing, than you are crazy.

History also shows that once in a generation a figure like Obama starts a movement in US Presidential politocs. So far those Presidents have been judged postively by history...JFK and good old Jelly Beans in the early 80's.

Obama knows which side his bread is buttered on. He might get some validity if he actually said boo about the federal reserve once or twice. Until then it's all just shiny words that some people want so desperately to hear. Playing along within the institution while talking about being outside of it.

edit: next time you;re at the clubhouse having drinks with him or whatever it is that you purportedly do in your personal time/exposure with him. Ask him some good hard questions on the federal reserve, and post his answers back here. That would be very interesting to see at the outset.

That would be a quick way to get tasered.

Huh? If by some stretch of the imagination Hillary gets nominated (not gonna happen), she will get absolutely creamed in the general election.

So what that you work for Obama? Every candidate has people who work for them. And those people ALL think their candidate is the best thing since sliced bread. You working with him doesn't prove anything other than your bias.

And again, so what that you work on his campaigns?? What exactly does that prove except that you are vested in your man and won't be changing your mind anytime soon no matter what is brought to light. A videotape could surface showing Obama burning babies alive and you would be right here posting your nice, neat little rationalization/damage control or either ignore it or completely deny it. Your name dropping does nothing but show that you are completely biased and have a clear goal in mind when you post here...even more so than the rest of us.

I never thought I read something here as silly as saying that you know your shit because you shot a fucking commercial for the guy.

i would, respectfully, beg to differ. i tend to think someone who has worked with a candidate in some capacity is a little more credible than someone who gets all their information from conspiracy theorist internet blogs and youtube videos. But thats just me.

If a person only got info from those sources you might have somewhat of a point but I don't know anyone here who fits that description. Even the ones who do use those forms of media don't rely on those exclusively.

    It shows bias and agenda...clearly.

  • I mean seriously. If I worked on the marketing team at Pepsi and came on here everyday telling you how Coke was shit and that Pepsi is the best soda there is. Then I backed it up by telling you how I should know because I work for Pepsi and make commercials for it....you guys would laugh your asses off and rightly so.

You are every bit as aware as i am as to the scarcity of a completely unbiased comment in this forum. You are also, whether you care to admit it or not, well aware of the utter dependence of some here on conspiracy theorist internet blogs and youtube videos.
i think my "somewhat of a point" stands.

Try and prove some of these "conspiracy theories" are wrong.

None of which have anything to do with my point here. Simply saying that you work for the guy's campaign and help make his commercials in effort to prove how credible you are in knowing your shit (no matter who you're posting to) is just laughable.

Ahhhhhh, but that is not whats happening. If someone were to come on here pasting links to internet blogs and youtube videos about how Pepsi contains crystal meth, a host of mind altering chemicals that are not incuded on the label, and that the Pepsi Bottling Company secretly finances Osama Bin Laden while hiding him in the basement of one their factories, and then you were to come here, having worked closely with the Pepsi Company and know first hand that the aforementioned propaganda against Pepsi was completely unfounded, i would be have to place more credibility on you. THATS what is happening here.

No it's not. And either way, you would have to prove the claims were false not just say you campaigned and made commercials for Pepsi so you know better. Saying that doesn't prove shit but an agenda to push Pepsi and provide damage control. And it gives people reason to be suspicious about your motives and how truthful you might be in your defense of Pepsi. It certainly doesn't prove you're in any position to be trusted because you have a vested interest in Pepsi's sucess. I really shouldn't have to be telling you this.
