o wait, bush is tanking us on purpose. I got it. damn that man.
Hate to break the news to you but the US economy is not strong enough to cover the US dollar or the debt it entails. The entitlement money (from SS and medicare) has been spent, so in order to cover the people that need to be covered is going to make a Big Mac cost a $100 in the near future. Are you aware that the US dollar is at an all time low. Lost 50% of it's value against other debt based (also worthless) currencies. Which means you and I have lost 50% of our buying power in less that three years. And this is just the beginning. More dollars, more debt, more inflation. Americans will lose their healthcare, savings, safety net in the near future. That's reality. The US dollar as king is over. The debt and printing of US dollars around the clock is here.http://mikecann.net

Who cares if North America switches to this?
Well ... by your innocuous 'North America' you are partly reffering to the soverign constitutional republic known as The United States of America, which does have its own formal constitution. I know, it's "just a goddamn piece of paper" ... we've all been brainwashed in to thinking it is an outdated document that need not necessarily apply to the modern world. However may i point you to
The United States Constitution
Article I
All legislative Powers herein granted shall be vested in a Congress of the United States, which shall consist of a Senate and House of Representatives...
Section 8 -
The Congress shall have Power... To coin Money, regulate the Value thereof, and of foreign Coin, and fix the Standard of Weights and Measures;
We don't even need to get in to the OTHER constitutional issues raised by the idea of creating some supranational entity entitled The North American Union that has its own goddamn currency.
By the way, just for shits and giggles, this is what Thomas Jefferson had to say about the creation of the FIRST National Bank (precursor to the Federal Reserve, which ALSO is unconstitutional) -
"I consider the foundation of the Constitution as laid on this ground--that all powers not delegated to the United States, by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the states, are reserved to the states, or to the people (12th amend.). To take a single step beyond the boundaries thus specially drawn around the powers of Congress, is to take possession of a boundless field of power, no longer susceptible of any definition.
The incorporation of a bank, and the powers assumed by this bill, have not, in my opinion, been delegated to the United States by the Constitution."
-Thomas Jefferson

Mark my words:
Aug 17th, 2007...
Given no opposition, the current US govt will melt down, and amalgamate, all of north America's borders, and internal infrastructure from A-Z, and combine it's currency into one singular currency under one form of ultimate government rule.
It will either be done in the name of terrorism, or a cataclysmic event such as an induced economic collapse.
At present, it's happening, and it will continue to happen, if people choose to remain asleep about this very serious issue.Progress is not made by everyone joining some new fad,

It's all part of the new world order, one where there is a world goverment.
There is no paranoia. It's just happening.
I guess we will see soon if the stock markets crash and if the amerio comes in.
I wouldn't write it off though jlew.
I'm not saying it will happen for sure just that it could well happen, so don't be too quick to dismiss it.Keep on rockin in the free world!!!!
The economy has polarized to the point where the wealthiest 10% now own 85% of the nation’s wealth. Never before have the bottom 90% been so highly indebted, so dependent on the wealthy.0 -

Your not very open to a different way of thinking are you jlew.
People have linked to goverment websites on here and i believe theres news items from you tube too.
That to me says it's not just some conspircy theory.
Now when or if it happens is another matter. But i won't pretend it's not true.Keep on rockin in the free world!!!!

While I wouldn't entirely say it is impossible, why does it seem that no one ever believes what the government tells them unless it is in support of a conspiracy, or conspiracy theory?0 -

Well i cannot speak for other people, but myself i have spent alot of time learning how goverments work by reading books not internet websites, and indeed know a few people who have worked close to that field enough to know that what you are told is not always the truth, there is always some spin and manipulation going on.
How is the Amero a conspircy theory though?
If we had all been about before the Euro came into being would people have called that conspircy theory too?Keep on rockin in the free world!!!!

I didn't mean it definitely was a conspiracy theory - that's why I said a conspiracy (meaning the governments are trying to do it) or a conspiracy theory (meaning they aren't but we think they are).
In your post you used the internet websites given out by the gov't and youtube as sources of the NAU existence, or did I misunderstand this?0 -
I work for a european company, and I discuss the EU from time to time with different Europeans in my office. The overwhelming concenses is that they do no approve of the EU. They were lied to and told it was nothing more then a trade agreement.....now they are in the process of creating a government that will rule over Europe.....far different from what was originally said. When governments expand, the peoples voice gets smaller and it is much more difficult to protest and get results. Sovereinty is being lost.
This is the same thing happening in North America, and it's only to benifit the extremely wealthy. They are following 1984 like it's a play book. Divide the world into three powers, and use terrorism to keep people afraid. What a joke of a world we live in.0 -

Do we really think things are going to stay the same and sail along smoothly as if our governments will tell the truth. Come on please especially with this administration, "Can't Truss It".
