    Sorry, but I think the RRHOF is a bunch of bullshit. Look at some of the bands that get inducted-they suck. RUSH hasnt been inducted yet, and in my opinion they are great.

    Holy shit! Miles Davis was just inducted in 2006. He may not be "rock n roll" and perhaps that caused the delay but damn...

    pearl jam has 10 times the name recognition of lou reed and tom waits. they'll get in. they're the only band on the level of a bruce springsteen or other shoe-ins that's still kicking. the only possible bar is if people are going anti-grunge after (probably) nirvana, aic, and soundgarden going in the years before.

    to those suggesting pete or bruce as inductors, not a chance in hell. the presenter is supposed to be someone the band has influenced. jim james, julian casablancas, the guy from kings of leon, or ben harper are all decent possibilities.
    and like that... he's gone.

    Any one of the following should induct PJ into the rock hall:

    Chris Cornell
    Ann and Nancy Wilson
    DCFC
    Ben Harper
    Jack Johnson

    for the obvious reasons/connections.

    The Rock and Roll hall of fame is the biggest joke, there are so many bands and people that aren't in it and so many bands and people that are in it that calling their music Rock and Roll is a HUGE stretch to begin with. It's a complete joke, here are the 2008 inductees, Leonard Cohen and Madonna????

    Leonard Cohen
    The Dave Clark Five
    Gamble & Huff
    Little Walter
    Madonna
    John Mellencamp

    I think it's obvious that the RRHOF only inducts 1-3 mainstream (big, prime, choose your own word) acts a year to space out the talent and give some of those larger acts a more headline status during their induction year. I looked at that list and there is no way some of them should be passed over this long.
    Raleigh '03; Hartford '08; Mansfield II '08; Buffalo '10; Hartford '10;
    East Troy I '11; East Troy II '11; DeLuna Fest '12; Wrigley '13; Buffalo '13;
    Toronto II '16; Wrigley I '16; Wrigley II '16; Wrigley I '18; Wrigley II '18;
    Asbury Park '21; MSG '22; Camden '22

    I think it would be cool if Mike Watt inducted them. I think it would be cool if Mike Watt inducted any band( seeing how the Hall of Fame will probably never induct the minutemen)
