"Witnesses told News 8 reporter Anne Shannon that a man went into school and took hostages."
...
Nothing to do with kids... just like the MAN that went into the Colorado school and molested those girls and killed their classmate.
Kids not to blame for this one.Allen Fieldhouse, home of the 2008 NCAA men's Basketball Champions! Go Jayhawks!

GODDAMN IT! tv, rap music, video games.... they are not supposed to teach us how to live! our society, our leaders, our parents, our churches, our schools, this is what moulds who we become. and they all GLORIFY KILLING. the shit you mentioned is FICTION it is ENTERTAINMENT and kids can tell the difference. now dont you republican religious nuts have some kids to go molest?0 -
i'm 26, and when i went to high school i had it relatively easy, i played a lot of sports and got along with everyone...but some kids were so mean to the "weird" ones with no social skills...i wonder how many times kids who are harassed at school think about actually hurting other kids. It's scary...0

I mean, when we fought the first wars of our country we knew what we were fighting for: end of slavery, communism, etc. Now what? Do we adults really know? So how do we expect children to understand the war. Again there is no values. We are fighting a war with no values at steak. I mean can we say to our 9 year old "honey there are very bad men out there who are making people slaves and we believe it is wrong. So we are going to go to war to stop it b/c we tried everything else." Now we say "Honey there are some very bad men out there who are trying to sell us gas for much more than it is worth, so we are going to war with them b/c we won't use our own fuel." Can ya see the difference! I am sure you agree, I am just on a soap box, sorry.
so you believe the wars in afganhistan and iraq are about oil? only oil? maybe you shouldnt be teaching your kids your opinions on the war. try facts. im sure you told your kids that our government was responsible for 9/11 too.0 -

1. My parents, church, and schools have never to my knowledge glorified killing. If yours are, then you need to get yourself some new ones.
2. MANY research studies have linked exposure to violent programming and images with increased aggressive behavior. This is not my opinion. These are double-blind major-university research studies published in well-respected, peer-reviewed journals.
3. Although I'm not a Republican or particularly religious, I don't believe they corner the market on sexual crimes.
4. In two of the three school shootings this week, the shooter was an adult, not a student.
5. The moderator has clearly posted guidelines against "bombing" people. I don't know if there are any Republicans here today, but if there are, you really don't need to call them child molesters.0 -

I would love to hear your 'versions'.
These wars certainly weren't about only oil/resource control, but it was certainly a partial driving force. Nearly all of the reasons delivered to the public were propaganda, so I would love to hear your thoughts on it.
Also, I would like to hear who you think it responsible for 9/11, since half of the supposed 'hijackers' have turned up actually alive in Saudi Arabia/Kuwait, and Bin Laden never actually admitted to it, other than a grainy video that doesn't even look nor sound like him, hand delivered to Washington. Oh, and who benefitted the most from the attacks? That's right, the Bush administration and the defense contractors. I don't believe the US orchestrated it, but people certainly knew more than they led on, certainly exploited it, and certainly were criminally negligible in preventing it based on the widespread knowledge it was coming. So, I'd LOVE to hear your version, since we all know the 'official' story is bullshit.

Disgraceful.
My agenda is not anti-US and I am offended whenever people say that. Guns are a weapon of hate. Ergo, they should be banned. End of story, I'm yet to see a convincing argument as to why people should be allowed to have one. Probably, because there isn't. Today's events confirm that."I am a doughnut." Yes, because that's what I said *shakes head sadly*. You're society allows people to arm themselves. So why are you suprised when people shoot other people? Its madness."I am a doughnut." (live - Berlin, Germany - 11/03/96)

Everyone's going on about politics and parenting philosophy...seems to me that we're missing the obvious about who's doing the shooting here...those of the XY persuasion!
I know, instead of dumping the blame on Republicans or video games, let's blame males. Ladies, let's get rid of 'em. Better yet, let's do as Ed suggests in "Leaving Here"... *L*

as much as I think your response was very disrespectful, I personally, hate guns and wish the laws were very very tough to get one. if not outlawed completely. but if thats the case only bad people would have guns. they will find a way to get them. and the good people who just want protection would not be able to get one. its fucked up.0 -

God No!!! I am not one of those people either. all I am trying to say is that we need to teach values. there is sooooo little of that today. we need to ask kids, What are guns used for?
I know when I grew up, I would have said: "for dad to go deer hunting, he likes dear meat."
If our children have that ideal of guns, then they are not harmful, but if children believe they are to be used against other humans in an offensive manner, then we have a problem.
But what I am preaching in here is LOVE!!!! We need to LOVE our children. We need to LOVE our neighbors children. We need to LOVE the kids that go to our church."F**K you, I have laundry to do" -ed0 -

This is like the fourth time in two weeks, maybe more?
what shocks me the most is its an amish school. I always thought they were calm peaceful people. scary. why the hell is this happening?0 -

Thanks google-master.
Did you notice that both links reference the 'first time Bin Laden has admitted attacks', yet they are 3 years apart? Strange, eh? Also, I was referencing the grainy and very shady looking video everyone referred to with him admitting to it, when it's pretty clear it's not him, but a look-alike. Also, is it far off to think that he would come to accept responsibility as a means of Al-Qaida recruitment, even if he were not responsible? Why not just come out the day of and say he did it? Why wait 3 years? Either way, it makes little difference to the point I made or other facts stated.24 years old, mid-life crisis

who do you think was responsible for the attacks on September 11th?
I find it amazing that you even blow off his own confession as "he only admitted it to recruit people". shocking and scary. if you want to talk about this, lets go to another thread.0
