i'm 26, and when i went to high school i had it relatively easy, i played a lot of sports and got along with everyone...but some kids were so mean to the "weird" ones with no social skills...i wonder how many times kids who are harassed at school think about actually hurting other kids. It's scary...

1. My parents, church, and schools have never to my knowledge glorified killing. If yours are, then you need to get yourself some new ones.

2. MANY research studies have linked exposure to violent programming and images with increased aggressive behavior. This is not my opinion. These are double-blind major-university research studies published in well-respected, peer-reviewed journals.

3. Although I'm not a Republican or particularly religious, I don't believe they corner the market on sexual crimes.

4. In two of the three school shootings this week, the shooter was an adult, not a student.

5. The moderator has clearly posted guidelines against "bombing" people. I don't know if there are any Republicans here today, but if there are, you really don't need to call them child molesters.

These wars certainly weren't about only oil/resource control, but it was certainly a partial driving force. Nearly all of the reasons delivered to the public were propaganda, so I would love to hear your thoughts on it.

Also, I would like to hear who you think it responsible for 9/11, since half of the supposed 'hijackers' have turned up actually alive in Saudi Arabia/Kuwait, and Bin Laden never actually admitted to it, other than a grainy video that doesn't even look nor sound like him, hand delivered to Washington. :rolleyes: Oh, and who benefitted the most from the attacks? That's right, the Bush administration and the defense contractors. I don't believe the US orchestrated it, but people certainly knew more than they led on, certainly exploited it, and certainly were criminally negligible in preventing it based on the widespread knowledge it was coming. So, I'd LOVE to hear your version, since we all know the 'official' story is bullshit.

as much as I think your response was very disrespectful, I personally, hate guns and wish the laws were very very tough to get one. if not outlawed completely. but if thats the case only bad people would have guns. they will find a way to get them. and the good people who just want protection would not be able to get one. its fucked up.

God No!!! I am not one of those people either. all I am trying to say is that we need to teach values. there is sooooo little of that today. we need to ask kids, What are guns used for?

I know when I grew up, I would have said: "for dad to go deer hunting, he likes dear meat."

If our children have that ideal of guns, then they are not harmful, but if children believe they are to be used against other humans in an offensive manner, then we have a problem.

But what I am preaching in here is LOVE!!!! We need to LOVE our children. We need to LOVE our neighbors children. We need to LOVE the kids that go to our church.

Did you notice that both links reference the 'first time Bin Laden has admitted attacks', yet they are 3 years apart? Strange, eh? Also, I was referencing the grainy and very shady looking video everyone referred to with him admitting to it, when it's pretty clear it's not him, but a look-alike. Also, is it far off to think that he would come to accept responsibility as a means of Al-Qaida recruitment, even if he were not responsible? Why not just come out the day of and say he did it? Why wait 3 years? Either way, it makes little difference to the point I made or other facts stated.

who do you think was responsible for the attacks on September 11th?

I find it amazing that you even blow off his own confession as "he only admitted it to recruit people". shocking and scary. if you want to talk about this, lets go to another thread.
