It wasn't an amish guy, was it? I read that it was a truck driver... who knows why he targeted amish kids.
This is only a few miles from where I work. Some of the people that I work with are mennonite and live down that way... but nobody here is surprised that it happened.
What is happening in our country? Why do people do these things? It makes me sad and pissed off at the same time.Everything not forbidden is compulsory and eveything not compulsory is forbidden. You are free... free to do what the government says you can do.0 -

pushmepullme wrote:My agenda is not anti-US and I am offended whenever people say that. Guns are a weapon of hate. Ergo, they should be banned. End of story, I'm yet to see a convincing argument as to why people should be allowed to have one. Probably, because there isn't. Today's events confirm that.
Not sure if you are hoping for a world that will all get together and have a gun burning party (I'm talking every single gun in the world), with a lifetime ban that will be upheld by every single human against building another. Wouldn't that be great? But seriously, do you think that would ever happen? Of course not. So that would mean there will always be guns around for those wanting to get their hands on one. That even includes kids. Sorry, that's how it works. Kids are very resourceful.
Just picture for yourself the violence that occurs within prison walls. Knives made from resourceful men that kill, all within a place that not only doesn't allow weapons, but doesn't have any to begin with.
So, where does this bring us? Education. Reactionary banning of things is idiotic and lazy.Love Wins. <><

Can anybody give me an explanation why this happens so often in the States, and lately in Canada and not in Europe?
I heard on the news it's like a copy cat-killings...are those people 'obsessed'?0 -

Oil.
Why do you think the US military does not invade China for social injustices?
Why do you think the US military does not invade Africa for social injustices?
Why do you think the US military does not invade N. Korea for social injustices?
Why do you think the US military waited 8 years to invade Former Yugoslavia for social injustices?
Why do you think the US military does not invade Colombia for social injustices and drug trade?
No Oil.

Speak for yourself. I love titties and it's legal for a woman to expose her titties in public, in Ontario.I necessarily have the passion for writing this, and you have the passion for condemning me; both of us are equally fools, equally the toys of destiny. Your nature is to do harm, mine is to love truth, and to make it public in spite of you. - Voltaire0 -

They also don't invade Saudi Arabia or Pakistan which are the prime sponsors of Terror. Oh... I LOOOOOOVE the titties. My idea of a breathtaking view is not from a mountain top panorama overlooking the ocean... it's naked women's breasts pressed up against the window.
But, apparently America has a tizzy fit is one tit pops out for 1/1,000th of a second at a half time show, but no problem with the violence that fills the rest of the televison's programming. Maybe we're just too fucking uptight.Allen Fieldhouse, home of the 2008 NCAA men's Basketball Champions! Go Jayhawks!

How about geting rid of some of the unneccesary stuff first? If you want to tell people the truth, make them laugh, otherwise they'll kill you.
