My point is, not everyone is American, I sure as hell am not.

Just because you have a racial problem in the southern U.S. it does not represent the entire world.
    A. There is a racial problem all over the US - Ask Boston.
    B. The rest of the world has issues with 'race' as well.

Wow, so that is what insight is? Being totally wrong?

    My boss is Philipino.

His peers, e.g. other project managers, are black and native.

Not all of them are minorities, but most of them.

The PM of the design department is both latino and homosexual.

I'm also sure if I travel to D.C. I'll get my ass kicked by a bunch of black dudes.

That reminds me of this one night at Norma Jeans I was hanging out with 4 black guys and 3 black women from Detroit. I was the only white guy at the table. It was all cool.

They took off to have a knife fight later on, and I stayed at the bar. Other than that they were cool.

Are you biting Eddie Murphy's story about playing tennis with a gay guy? After the match, he stayed and had a beer while his gay friend left to suck a dick. Same shit, no?

WHAT??? I'm talking about countries like England, South African, Austrailia, someone mentioned eastern Europe, Asian country's, all have issues with "race". Just because you, as an individual, live and work in a cool situation doesn't mean it's true for everyone around you. Your problem is that you can't see outside of yourself.

Haha, I can see outside myself.

But you bring up a good point. The same point I've been trying to make.

Just because you live and work in an uncool situation doesn't mean it's true for everyone.

E.g. not all white dudes are anything. Not all anyone is anything.

You are right it does, but in both ways mentioned.

Yea, some people, like my old boss was very discriminatory. He would not interview any minority, woman or homosexual. He just wouldn't, he wasn't going to hire me because I smoke, but he ran out of options by not hiring anyone else.

On the other hand, there are those "minorities" and women that blame white people or men for all their hardships.

Who just up and leaves to go to a "knife fight"? No self respecting black people would go into a fight involving weaponry and not have at least one firearm amongst them. Actually, make that no self-respecting American. Was the fight maybe an escalation-type fight? Maybe they started out with knives and then moved on to swords or Molotov cocktails or something? Knife fights are so 50s. Were they wearing red leather jackets? Maybe they were just going to recreate the Thriller video.

Haha, I'm not sure what happened. Everything was cool, but two of them started argueing and throwing punches. One guy pulled out his blade and someone said "Not here, let's go" and they left.

That's crazy. The Indians are kind of like that where I live. Fighting with knives is kind of messed up. Especially since they seemed to know each other (from what I gathered from your story). Better them than me.

They knew each other a lot better than they knew me or I knew them.

I was chillin' at the bar with my buddy Matt, we were sitting at this table outside and they all just sat down with us. Almost immediately my buddy Matt got up and said "I need another drink" that was the last I saw of him, I think he got scared and left the bar.

I hung around for 3 hours chillin' with these guys until they finally left. Then I went looking for Matt. I was so smashed I crawled down to my cousins place, let myself in and crashed on his couch.

oh i get it... so if you say something, it's right becos you'e smarter than me, and if i disagree with what you're saying, it's becos im not on the same level as you. sorry sir, i wont question your superiority again. i wont interfere with your test-taking again... ive got work to do anyway... you know, law school, one of the places us peasants get our learnin done.

No, but that works for me.

Why branch of law are you studying?

I've represented about 4 cases and won every time. I'm not a lawyer, but hey, it doesn't take a rocket scientist.

Meh. Law school doesn't impress me that much. If you can read and bullshit, you can get through law school. My friend went through engineering school and then law school. Now that is impressive. To do all that math and then to do all of that bullshitting is a feat that is not easy to accomplish. With that said, maybe you did the same -- I don't know.

lol, there is a saying that sticks in my mind.

If you can't dazzle them with brilliance, baffle them with bullshit.

    Always works for me ;)

Haha yup... that was a popular saying in my law & ethics class. The teacher was a engineer/lawyer who worked for an insurance company. He said that that statement holds true even in a court of law (sometimes).

yes, but the law school he's at is impressive. You have to have some accolades to get in.

that so? whose cases? what were the charges? id like to look these up, cos there seems to be no end to the bullshit you spew. reading a book about psych doesn't make you an expert on developmental psych. and im unimpressed by your stunning intellect... since you could even pass 9th grade and know no math beyond algebra. that's far from genius material my friend.

have you checked the "Ahnimus v Parking Enforcement" cases?....thats my guess!

I passed 9th grade, did you only read the first 3 words of that post?

Well, the first 3 cases were defending myself, Assault, Assault with a Deadly Weapon and Uttering death threats.

The 4th case was a DV case between my friend and his GF. I wasn't really defending either of them as much as I was trying to get both of them out of it. In the end, I feel it was successful, neither went to jail and the court orders were all dropped. No fines, just a bit of counselling.

That's all wininng a DV case is, "Ok, we will agree to 10 hours counselling to drop the charges and maintain a clean criminal record." a.k.a A guilty with diversion plea.

you dropped out and took an equivalency test. you sound like a pretty smart guy... 3 assault charges to your name = very bright. sounds like you can bullshit pretty well yourself buddy.

congrats on mediating for your buddy who likes to beat the shit out of his gf. you're a true saint to keep him out of jail.

ive heard enough of your stories not to believe any of them anymore. im sorry the entire world (school, friends, exes, the gov, your ex's 80 person gang that kicked your ass) is conspiring against you... but that doesnt make you a genius. just in need of therapy.

I have a clean record. I was defending myself for good reason.

I was mediating for my buddy who's GF beat the shit out of HIM.

You've heard just enough of my stories to believe what you want to believe. If you ever took the time to read the whole stories you'd have a better idea and maybe you won't be so judgemental. The fact that you think my buddy beat up his wife is laughable and evidence of your bias.

that wont get you into the school i attend... let alone with a scholarship. ive got the accolades to back up my brains. this guy's got a bunch of pop culture science books that he feels make him an expert. and he talks shit about it endlessly. it's kinda pathetic. ok, not kinda, it is pathetic.

The book on developmental psychology I am reading is a developmental psychology text book. It's not a pop culture science book.

All school is is reading books and having someone explain shit to you.

I don't think that I have ever read any of his posts before tonight. As far as American law schools go, all you need to get into any of them is cash. You may have got in on your smarts, but if one of George W's retarded nephews wanted into your school, you would be debating the validity of the case of Knife V. Spoon while they added a new wing on your school.
