Except, if my parents are poor. It's my responsibility to make my own life better, because I'm white.

Let me get something straight, absolutely none of my ancestors ever owned slaves, and my skin colour is classified as "white"

For a guy who relies on facts and his education as backing that was one of the most ignorant statements I have ever heard. Do you know anything about North American Prehistory? It has been archaeologically proven that Native People have been in North America (longer in South America) for atleast 13 000 years. Nordic/Vicking Cultures are known to have visited North America approx around 900 A.D. and they never ever entrenched themselves here...also proven archaeologically.
It amazes me to this day the blanket statements that white people apply to Native Culture, the bottom line is people like you dont care about Native people and are for a lack of better words....racist.
