firstly, on the bottom of the page it says the factual accuracy of the content on this page is disputed.

bush used 9/11 as a pretext to invade iraq. he mislead the public.

    its a wiki page.
  • history? HISTORY????? history says the indians attacked the soldiers at wounded knee. history didn't recognise the buffalo soldiers until recently. history is only as accurate as the person who wrote it.

this reminds me of kabong's sig.

our version of history will prove we were right.

I guess my years of studying history and political science doesn't make up for my not being there. I'm sure my liberal-tree loving professor was just spinning the events of Vietnam anyway. I guess you're too old to comprehend what my generation is going through now in Iraq, but at least my generation is smart enough to respect your opinion and your right to free speech.

i don't think you know what free speech is. ever hear of slander? let's test free speech; call the white house and threaten to kill the president. let me know about free speech when you're out of jail.

like hippiemom said, they weren't operating in iraq until we invaded.

we need to get out of there.

saddam paid the families of the 9/11 hijackers before we got there. that in itself shows involvement or at least conspiracy.

I am simple astonsihed that John Kerry's comments would get this much attention. It's not like the man walked around Arlington National Cemetary spitting on graves. Was it a stupid comment, yes but we are talking about John Kerry here. Who the fuck cares what he said, the man isn't even up for re-election.

Trust me, I have a great idea of what free speech is. In a perfect world with perfect free speech, we would be able to call the White House like you mentioned, but we can't.

That's hilarious! Why should Al Qaida have a right to be in Iraq and we shouldn't? Why on earth would you want to just give a country to a terrorist organization that plots to destroy your county???? Are you serious?

I don't see much of a fuss being made over the fact that islamist radicals have basically taken control of Somalia. Or is it that only certain countries matter to us while others can just go fuck themselves.

No one here who is attacking Mr. Kerry has made an honest attempt as to where our President was. If you can attack a US Senator you could at least give us an good understanding as to where the President was.

Welcome to reality. The U.S. is not being hypocritical for trying to rebuild Iraq as a Democracy and not Somalia. The U.S. simply does not have the resources to go to every country in the world with radical Islamist and try to root them out and rebuild the nation.

If you think this is only serving your own interest, then you are short-sighted. Iraq has extremely important strategic value on many different levels - including it's oil reserves. Somalia has almost no strategic value.

Considering the fact that hardly any other countries support our efforts in Iraq, I doubt seriously you could get them to help a country like Somalia or Sudan, etc....

    HERE'S WHAT YOU SAID:

and I quote " study hard, do your homework, make an effort to be smart, you can do well. if you dont, you will get stuck in Iraq.

so mr kerry, all soliders who go and fight are uneducated dumbasses. well said.

i mean, it's all right there. i have no idea what i'm talking about, eh? well, you typed john kerry's words, and then your own verbal diarrhea. and you didn't put words in his mouth? CLASSIC.

you, my misguided friend, are the ignorant one. and it does NOT make me laugh.

No matter how much you disagree don't stoop to his or anyone elses level and do the name calling thing. One of these days the Train is going to be gone forever, and then we'd have to invade the AET, and I think those guys spit nails sometimes.

here's what kerry claims he meant to say:

"I can't overstress the importance of a great education. Do you know where you end up if you don't study, if you aren't smart, if you're intellectually lazy? You end up getting us stuck in a war in Iraq."

now that's a line! i gotta say, seeing the GOP get their panties all in a bunch over this is pretty encouraging. if this is all they have a week before election time, i think the dems have a pretty good shot at both houses.

Exactly. They're really digging for something to energize their voters. The whole Osama commercial fell flat on it's face, the "Playboy commercial" was worthless, and now this? Ken Mehlman must be getting worried...
