Kerry getting wounded 3 times in 4 months tells me that he was actually over seas fighting, not MIA like others who shall remain nameless...
if you look back; someone mentioned moore's movie F-9/11. which claims he knew everything.0 -

He was still there. Where was our president? Who's apparantly tough on terrorism?Believe me, when I was growin up, I thought the worst thing you could turn out to be was normal, So I say freaks in the most complementary way. Here's a song by a fellow freak - E.V0 -

i'm a fellow freak myself. we were freaks because our ideals were different.0 -

let's see in 1968 I was -14...
Most Pearl Jam fans probably weren't around during Vietnam, and what a horrible response when asked about where the President was. Why don't you answer the question instead of asking another one.
Where was our "war time" President during Vietnam? At least Clinton was man enough to say he was a draft dodger because he didn't believe in the war, not just he didn't want to get killed.0 -

i cant believe people are still buying this shit
*newsflash*
iraq had nothing to do with 9/11 (repeat 10 times)0 -

and over 1,000,000 million south asians were buried as well. and Kerry (and like minded folks) saw that to be unjust
think about it. destroying an entire fucking area of the world. for what?0 -

It wasn't Kerry's remarks that made the American public treat vietnam vets so god awful, that honor goes to Nixon and Kissinger.
they were not treated poorly. that was a myth that was fuled by the pro-war pundits. i have talked to many vietnam vets that say that was bullshit and they were treated very well upon returning. and i have seen a film out recently (forget the name) that hilights the anti-war surge within the ranks during the war that also debunks that little myth0 -

the president was in the reserves.
with no personal experience and being an age too young to comprehend what was really going on; i have no respect for your comments.0 -

being a vet (i assume) i would hope you would be more respectful of free speech and the right to dissent and disagree?
the president was AWOL. and his VP was filing deferments
which i cant blame them since it was an unjust war that slaughterted many on both sides. for what?0 -

I guess my years of studying history and political science doesn't make up for my not being there. I'm sure my liberal-tree loving professor was just spinning the events of Vietnam anyway. I guess you're too old to comprehend what my generation is going through now in Iraq, but at least my generation is smart enough to respect your opinion and your right to free speech.0 -

history? HISTORY????? history says the indians attacked the soldiers at wounded knee. history didn't recognise the buffalo soldiers until recently. history is only as accurate as the person who wrote it.0
