    Everybody has access to American news channels. What I am saying is that American news channels tend to report sensationalism rather than the news. You will have endless coverage of Jon Benet while wars are breaking out elsewhere in the middle east. Try watching the BBC or CBC, if you can. You will be outraged at the lack of information that you are receiving through the American media outlets, or at least you should be.

    It's not a made up concept it just happens, as i was growing up there were attacks from the IRA, and constant bomb scares. But we get on with our lives and don't let fear run them. And your nearly right, 1 bus and three underground trains were blown up.

    But whats your point should i now only vote for the party that say's they will deal with the terrorists or should i vote for the party that has a wider intrest in the country? I know which one is more important to me.

    We've access to Fox and CNN, ABC, NBC and CBS, and the Voice of America, for what they're worth. We also have access to many other news networks.

    Wind No Sail - This is ridiculous b/c it's the GOP who's running the add. They have done nothing but isolate us and make us more hated around the world. With the actions in Iraq they just give the terrorists that much more recruiting weight. If anyone is not taking terrorists seriously it is THE GOP; their actions have done nothing but made terrorisim worse than it was. Yet they thrown out these adds trying to make it sound like they're the reason we're alive. If you want to justify their add by saying we havent been attacked since 9.11 dont bother; even they admit that we will be attacked again.

    It would sure be easy for the Dems to turn this around on the GOP since, if I'm not mistaken, the attack happened on the GOP watch.
    The only people we should try to get even with...

    you still havent responded to anyone's rebuttals RE american ignorance. given that the avg US news stations spends more time covering sports, celebrity gossip, and natalie holloway and anything else, how can you claim the rest of the world is ignorant about american issues. do you know anything about what's going on outside the chicago white sox choking and the dems being wussy terrorist/fag lovers? also, if you dont think we have more important issues than terrorism, we're in serious trouble. they got lucky. simple as that. 9/11 would have happened no matter who was in office, and won't happen again regardless of who is in office.

    i was pretty angry after 9/11 as well. something about terrorism. just a pet peeve i guess. i don't care if it is osama or the GOP doing the terrorizing, i just gets under my skin, i know it shouldn't, i know trivial matters such as war, and terrorism should just roll off my back, it must be nice to be you, so ambivalent, so indifferent, so apathetic. you must only get angry when two people of the same sex love each other, you know, the important stuff.
