    Besides, I think Jesus would be alarmed to hear you say something like that. He did die on the cross for you.

    Only a fool would believe they can act like dispicable jackasses all their lives, and think they will be saved if they accept Jesus on their death bed.

    That would have to be one arrogant and full of himself god to give salvation to murderers, thieves and swindlers, because they accept Jesus into their hearts at the last second of their lives, out of pure desperation and fear; but damns to hell non-believers who have lived positive, honest and loving lives. I mean, is there any better example of arrogance, ego and narcisim than a god who would do that?

    i dont know how this thread went from discussing this absurd statement to a discussion on which of us do or do not believe in jesus. the fact remains we have a united states congressman recruiting for al qeada, and MY friends are going to be shot at because of it. i know the christians on this board would rather talk about how wonderful jesus love and sacrifice is supposed to be, but isnt a representitive of the united states government validating the war in iraq as a holy war a sickening enough development to discuss on its own merits? the very fact that someone representing our country and gov
    ernment is insinuating that all middle eastern people will be healed of their ignorance and savagry as soon as they accept jesus as their savior is cause for serious alarm and is giving all christians a bad (worse) name.

    i have one better example.... a god who would flood the entire planet, killing, not just killing but brutally drownding the elderly, new born babies, the mentally retarded, the good, the bad, men, women, children, people who never heard of him, EVERYONE except one family...... BECAUSE PEOPLE WERE NOT PAYING ENOUGH ATTENTION TO HIM........
    that sounds pretty arrogant egotistical, and narcistic...... or when he turned an entire city, or was it 2 cities to salt because the residents were gay....... or when he ordered his people to kill every living thing, man, woman, child, animal, they came across in the "promised land", or when he created lucifer knowing ahead of time he would become satan, or when he created BILLIONS of people KNOWING THEY WOULD SUFFER FOR ETERNITY IN HELL, or when he CREATED SIN only to punish his "experiments" for having the sin he created.....i dont put much past a god like that.............

    just dont forget to DROP SOMETHING IN THE OFFERING PLATE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    he's gonna want 10% of everything you own.....and that is just the tythe, if you dont give that, you are stealing from god.... now if you want to get into heaven , they are gonna need an offering as well....... that is anything on top of the 10% you decided not to steal from god.......
