FYI from Brad Klausen over at BRY:

"For those of you here who purchased a sub from me and are curious as to when they will ship...it's looking like i won't be able to get the tubes in the mail until after flatstock next week.

I was supposed to get my order of tubes on friday, but they were delayed and won't arrive until today or tomorrow, which is unfortunate because i was hoping to pack them all this weekend and get them in the mail this week...being that i will be behind a table at flatstock all weekend, i won't be able to start packing orders until the evenings of next week.

so if you have already sold your subscription or at least your DC poster on ebay and are eagerly awaiting its arrival, fear not, your flippable goods will be on their way soon.

of course not.. the guys at BRY can be jerks (not talking about Brad). Unless you keep every poster from every sub, they label you as a flipper. I'm getting 6 posters from Klausen. I will certainly not be getting all 6 framed and hanging them up, so I was willing to accept trade offers. They all have a holier than thou attitude over there. I love collecting posters and trading them.. and I love trading posters that are not my favorite to other people who will enjoy them in exchange for getting a poster that is more desirable to me

Wow. Ninersfan sold a HOB 05 for $500 the other day too. How can no one see that he's ripping them off when they're bidding??? It's starting to remind me of buying an engagement ring for $4000 and then turning around and having it appraised at $10,000. How the hell does that work, anyway?

Maybe we'll see a poster market crash similar to the one in '29. PANIC! THE END IS NEAR! REPENT SINNERS!!
the palms, in the breeze, still blow green
and the waves in the sea still absolute blue

No one can complain if you TRADE them. If you sell them, let me tell you that you will never be getting anything from Klausen again. The problem I have with you (and I don't think your a bad trader or guy) is you had you sub up on EB under teh FOR SALE OR TRADE category right after you bought it. That, to the naked eye looks like you are trying to flip it.

    It's a disease,... and they're all green
    It emanates from their being
    A satiation,.. with occupation

And like weeds,.. with big leaves
    Stealing light from what's beneath
    Where they have more,...
    Still they take more

    Course I know,.. then I don't
There's a stowaway with my throat
    It's deceiving...
    I don't believe him

We can scream,.. out our doors
Behind the wall a fat man snores
    In his dreams he's,...
    Choking Ti leaves

    Well I guess
There's nothing wrong with what you say
    But don't sell me,
    'There can't be better ways'

    Tell the captain
    'This boats not safe
    And we're drowning.'
    Turns out
    He's the one making waves

    I said
There's nothing wrong with what you say
    Believe me
    Just asking you to sway
    No white
    Or black
    Just grey
    Can you feel this...
World with your heart and not your brain?

    G-R-E-E-D..... G-R-E-E-D

    Yup these just arrived..
Click on the detail button to really get a feel for these:

    http://www.emek.net/posters/n/nick_cave.html

This print has the same image on the back that is glow in the dark:
    http://www.expressobeans.com/images.php?id=47438

Check out the small thumbnails on the right and see this thing glow. I put this poster so it is directly in sunlight and when someone turns the light on at night it hits this poster so when its dark it glows. Probably besides the Nick Cave print this one is the best.

in regards to other artists- i went to see Fogerty and Willie Nelson a few weeeks back- and i went super early to try and snag a Willie Nelson poster ( by Emek - i had seen these on his website ) but like i said i was let down when i got there super early to discover they didnt even have any of these at the show.
I really dig his work- but it just seems even more difficult to attain these, even moreso then Ames / Klausen- other then thru his website- and even there i have heard they go up for sale at all different & crazy, unpredictable times , ( probably so that flippers have no set system in getting them ( ? ))

QBall, I understand what you're saying and agree in large part. But I'm also a little perplexed: Doesn't everyone become a flipper eventually? Seriously, are you trying to say that you, me or anyone will hold onto every poster of value until the day we die and that our children will keep a solemn vigil over our unflipped collection. I would wager to guess that you (just like me and every other poster "collector") buy plenty of posters as an investment rather than for a love for the band or print. Let me end by saying I had a chance to buy the Klausen sub, but didn't because there was only one print I wanted and would have just put the rest up for trade or sale. It was obvious that others wanted that sub badly and I let my chance slip away. No regrets.
