    Can anyone give me any info on how you go about getting a poster subscription from ames and how much it costs? Also, i'm looking for a bunch of posters...maybe someone can help me out? I'm in need of -

    these days it hasnt been worth the trouble... get on their mailing list, they send out e-mails when they are going to take place. Not enough are sold to meet demand so they sell out in minutes. They are not cheap... about $60 a poster... the sub I got was about $800 with shipping...

    they sell the subs usually before each leg of the tour .. price depends on # of shows... last year it was about $60 to $65 per poster

    best place to find your posters is expressobeans.com or ebay

    or someone here might be selling and they'll pm you now that you've asked

    that's crazy, I have a T1 line, every other page is flying...but eb won't open. All I want to do is add my new beautiful Hampton Decemberists SE to my collection!

    Got one, too. Hampton makes kick ass posters. I bought the first 4 editions for 2007, i.e. MMJ, Wolfmother, Roots SE and both Decemberists Reg and SE. Would love to get a sub from him, but no answer yet. Guess they're sold out.

    hollis, i think we wrote emails nearly identical to Justin. I too asked him about a sub. I have bought all of the posters too except for the Roots. I sub would have come in handy. I can't wait to see the glowing snow on the Decemberits SE!

    Me too. The Melvins, for March release also looks cool. The SE will probably kick ass. Are you signed up for his emails?

    I either buy posters(which I consider art, always a good investment) or leave it for my kids when I drop dead. With the way things are going, the posters will be more valuable in the future than the couple of grand that I spend each year. I've already sent 2 kids thru college with 1 more to go (currently a freshman at NC State).
    One nice thing about being grown up, or at least a grown up, is that you have a few more bucks to spend on your favorite rock band, and since I was 39 when PJ first hit the scene in 91, 16 years later a lot of my financial responsibilities are behind me.
