    it seems to me that the whole prison thing, death sentence thing, has gotten really weird.

    It should be very commonplace, and simple.

    Drug busts should not be jail sentences unless you're caught selling to minors. Period.

    White collar crimes should not be jail sentences unless you don't pay back what you stole. Period.

    Sex offenders and murderers should be locked up, taking the place of the drug bust and white collar criminals.

    And for the sex offenders and murderers, fair trials for all.

    I see no need for more than pot and alcohol. But if other adults choose to waste themselves more quickly by using everything you just mentioned?

    It's their choice, as long as they don't sell or give it to minors.

    Of course the emotional response to having this happen to one of your own children would be to want these guys dead. But that's why we have a legal system that encourages a more objective approach. Killing people doesn't solve anything...it only makes you a murderer.

    Might as well make it legal...drugs being illegal sure hasn't hindered anyone who ever wanted to get high. And I don't care what other adults choose to do with their time. Just like alcohol, don't give it to kids and don't drive while under the influence.

    i'm sorry, but being objective when some animal has sexually abused MY child isn't ever gonna happen. an emotional response is just a basic instinct.

    the legal system is far from infallible.
