  • this thread is so funny. the buildings were brought down by the planes no doubt. they were loaded with fuel and the terrorists studied the building plans for years they've attempted to bring those buildings down forever. steel melts folks!! and thats what it did. no way it was a controlled explosion.

Despite the worst failure in history of the military to protect American civilians, and the worst alleged engineering failures in history, there were no consequences for the responsible authorities, and no transparent investigations.

Wow have you read the NIST report? where'd you get that info from?

there was a helluva lot more than jet fuel in there chief. sure, drop a stell ingot in a pool of burning jet fuel and MAYBE the steel won't melt. but that's not what happened that day. a building already weakened by the sheer force of being broadsides by a huge passenger jet caught fire... there was burning jet fuel and it ignited everything on probably 10 floors in that building... wood, plastic, paper, plaster, etc. there was fresh oxygen being pumped in through the hole in the wall. wind to fan the flames. it's a little bit different environment than any lab experiment i ever heard of. seems utterly plausible to me. a helluva lot more plausible than a government conspiracy involving thousands of people none of whom spoke a word about the greatest atrocity perpetrated on our soil in american history.

Bill Maher's full of shit. CNN make him out to be the voice of Liberal America, when in actual fact he's just another functionary.
Not everbody who doubts the official story believes that the Government actually carried out the attacks, or that they brought down the twin towers e.t.c. In my opnion these things are a diversionary tactic to stop people simply realising that the Government possessed prior warning of the attacks and that they allowed them to happen. The evidence for this is indisputable.

The what report?? Why can't you people believe what you saw?? All these news channels were showing the same pictures and reporting the same things as they happened. And evryone saw the second plane crash into the tower on live TV. What they've come up with after the fact is just selling airtime and papers.

If the Government was responsible why say that Osama and his boys did it, make lame arse invasion of Afganistan and then head into Iraq with all their might. Why not just say Saddam did it go after him and be done with it?

yes i have studied them alot before they removed alot of the information from the internet but i'm not about to get into it with you...you're sorta hard headed and this will go on for days. one thing i will say is not even the devil is evil enough to concoct a plan of that magnitude and people that believe the conspiracy theories are screwed together very loosely.

And people that place all the 'conspiracy theorists' within the same bracket are also delusional. The government had prior warning, and detailed knowlege of the plans for the attacks, and they did nothing. No combat aircraft were scrambled for the first time out of 100 routine scramblings that year. Coincidence? Dream on.
The Neo cons wanted a new Pearl Harbour, and they got one.

i might be willing to consider that theory. but the whole "there were no planes and it was a bomb in the building" nonsense is ridiculous. my first thought when the towers went down was 'dubya is untouchable now and we're in deep shit.' i'm not sure he personally was in on it, but i can easily see some of the characters surrounding him turning a blind eye to this to become politically invincible. he was the perfect puppet too becos he is such an ideologue his sincerity would cover the shady stuff going on behind the scenes.
  • when bush testifies under oath and allows noteworthy scientists to testify and a non partisan commnitee makes an official finding....

    maybe we can drop it.

still doesn't discount that a Bush was head of security at the WTC and jet fuel isn't hot enough to melt steel.

Jet fuel cannot burn hot enough to melt steel. This is why pots don't melt when you cook on a gas stove. Oxygen rich fires produce very little smoke and lots of flame. Neither were present or observed.

Anyone else want to try this question?

They're under the illusion that the planes hitting the building weakened the steel. Then the preceding fires apparently melted the steel and down goes the the buildings just like "down goes Frazier".

A large portion of the jet fuel burned off outside the buildings, and what remained inside burned up within a few minutes.

So essentially all the jet fuel did in this equation was serve as a means to ignite a basic office fire. Firemen on the scene at the floors confirmed this, that indeed the fire was isolated and easily manageable.

From the outside the lack of flames, and heavy black smoke, would in fact confirm this.

So again where are the steel melting temperatures coming from?

    anyone?

Steel didn't have to melt for the towers to collapse it just had to weaken.
