isn't it hillarious how none of them can even tell you WHY they support obama, other than saying he's the only realistic option? otheriwse they get all pissy and say they don't owe anyone an explanation.
it's also hilarious how they fish for things then try to make them into big issues (like nader telling a guy he fired he couldn't start a union, which he tried to start AFTER he got fired) yet they have shit to say about obama saying during a national debate that it wasn't true his campaign chair is a pharmaceutical lobbyist when he really is???
too damn funny. they care that nader sold stock in companies his organization was about to go after but no problems at all about obama's lies
but what's odd is how personal they take it that we don't wanna vote for obamastandin above the crowd
he had a voice that was strong and loud and
i swallowed his facade cos i'm so
eager to identify with
someone above the crowd
someone who seemed to feel the same
someone prepared to lead the way0 -

El_Kabong wrote:so, again, what has obama DONE?
He wrote a book ... about himself.
He inspired most of PJ to excrete "Rock aroud Barak" which threatened to expose them as musical frauds. Luckily that part of their history has been expunged."I'll use the magic word - let's just shut the fuck up, please." EV, 04/13/080 -
Wow...this thread got really silly. Try to chill, people. Your insecurities are showing.0

You instigated the conversation and the argument.Abookamongstthemany wrote:Where did you see this keynote speech, again? Most people saw it on TV
And Kabong jumped on the bandwagon...El_Kabong wrote:but the media is where you first heard of him, right?
I simply responded to questions posed by you and Kabong about where I had first seen or heard of Barack Obama. You complain about television because Nader never gets any air time, and that's fine, but you don't have to question the intent of others due to that fact.
I don't feel like beating a dead horse either, but when you come out with quips likeAbookamongstthemany wrote:He made a point that no one was even arguing. But whatever. That's why I didn't bother replying. It's like he's having some conversation that's not even there.
You didn't bother replying because you're wrong.Trading magic for fact, no tradebacks... So this is what it's like to be an adult...0 -
El_Kabong wrote:so, i'm not the one arguing the media is irrelevant in obama's exposure. how is pointing out that a lot of ppl are exposed to him from the media hannity-esque?
You took one sentence from a two paragraph post that disspelled the notion that television provided the lone arena where I gather information and used that sentence to frame your argument.Trading magic for fact, no tradebacks... So this is what it's like to be an adult...0 -

I say Nader should run as a 5th party. That way he can't be accused of being a 3rd party vote stealer. And then if anyone asks him who the other four parties are, he tells you to educate yourself on your own damn democracy.Smokey Robinson constantly looks like he's trying to act natural after being accused of farting.0
