    hamish had known anna for as long as davey had. in fact it was he who introduced them. he thought davey would be able to handle her. hamish liked anna but he didn't like what was happening to davey.

    No my friend you don't need to worry about me that way. The one worry I have apart from Ann is that a lifetime might not be enough for me to forgive myself if Anna takes this any further.

    Aahh, might not be my fault by definition, still I 'm not doing anything to help her right, unless you think tough love is help. But seriously I need the space and I can't have her around right now yet that doesn't discharge me of the consequences

    i can't believe you davey. what the hell is going on in your head. you were doing okay even after anna lost the baby and all that. but now you seem to think you owe her something more than she's willing to give you. i think you need to step away and start living your own life. leave anna to do whatever it is she's gonna do. cause regardless of whether you are there or not she's going to do it.

    Come on Hamish you make it sound like I'm on a guild trip. You never stroke me as the male version of the iron lady, but now.....! How the hell would it be possible for me not to feel any shame about my leaving now. I want to be there for her, as a good boyfriend I should be there for her. And what do I do I turn my back on her when it counts. I need this, but I can't help feeling selfish.

    i can't beleive i'm going to say this but.. you have to get anna to sit down and talk to someone. someone objective. neither of you can do it on your own and when you get together, it just degenerates into a drag out fight. she yells, you yell, one of you walks out, usually you and she thinks she's won.
