Hmmmn..... Detroit keeps voting for Democrats. How's Detroit been doing? How about those Democratic leaders and union leaders? They've really turned Michigan into a thriving metropolis. I think 4 bedroom homes are selling for almost $50,000 now.
OK unless you have lived in Michigan don't talk about Michigan's politics. The Ford Family and all the other rich ass GOP running the automotive industry never thought anyone would challenge them and when they did they turned the other cheek. Then we had a governor who, about 4 days before he left office, told us he forgot about a billion plus deficit that his administration had been building up for the last 3-5 years ... that's what fucked Michigan — it chased out a lot of business and forced the Big 3 to layoff thousands and outsource work — that if any democrat wouldn't have outsourced! The unions are just as much to blame as the owners of the big 3 but shit everyone else saw this coming 5 years ago and they didn't. That's why I got out of there! Now, the whole country sucks ass. The good thing is, you can still buy a fucking house in Michigan which is a lot more than you can say about every other state in this county.
Leave Obama alone!!! He doesn't need PJ or any other band to help him. All they can do is hurt his chances. VFC 2004 hurt Kerry. He lost every important state that VFC played. VFC turned him into the Hollywood/Hippie candidate that the South and parts of the Midwest hate. Obama on his current path should destroy McCain in November. Leave well enough alone!
I think Obama is going to need all the help he can get...
and because he wouldn't distance himself from the right, went to harrisburg to see him speak, wouldn't stand against war or say that bush was wrong, trying to woo the right and lost his base. waiting and watching move on .org to see anything about vfc tour, every time they ask for an opinion i always add loved the pj vfc tour hint hint. would be a bonus but most likely wouldn't happen until fall if at all. love to tailgate at reading pa, so blown away by that whole experience we headed the wrong way home, didn't notice till we hit the del bridge toll, didn't notice we were heading away from the sun?

If he has to go the distance vs The Clinton machine I think your probably right. He'll be so exhausted after getting the nomination he'll probably need a month just to recover. I just hope that this tour has a "Get off your lazy ass and vote!" message. Rather than a "Obama is going to save the world" message. People don't want other people, especially musicians telling them who they should vote for. Just get people to vote, that's the key. If PJ could get say 10,000 people to register over the course of a summer tour that would be huge.
Cleveland and Columbus should have 3 nights each since Ohio is always on the boarder quote) or NOT! i think vfc tour should be a reward system for those states that really are voting for change, if you want it get on the ball, volunnteer at the offices, hit the street going door to door, work for change or we might be stuck with the same old shit for 4 more.

if this is a VFC type tour, it makes sense that it would be announced tomorrow, 3/19...

Agree.. It`s more important to get people to vote, than to go out and support a specific candidate

Sounds like the start of a good plan....

Please play Indiana or Cincinnati or Columbus! I can't afford much more traveling this year. Playing Indianapolis would fit Barack's 50 state strategy.

Kerry lost because the Bush administration rigged the election in 2004, just like they did in 2000.
5/25/06 - Boston
6/28/08 - Mansfield
6/30/08 - Mansfield
8/2/08 - Eddie in Boston (FRONT ROW!)

I think even people who don't like George Bush can agree that Kerry was useless.
But you're gonna have to serve somebody.
