After seeing Eddie play that song solo in AC, I will always love it. Having the whole band play in the song did take away from it a bit. Just my opinion.
    East coast 08 please. (YESSSSS!!!!)
  • that's whats very interesting about the new(er) album. I really, really like:
    WWS
    Severed
    Life Wasted/Wasted Reprise
    Comatose
    MITS
Army Reserve (probably my fav song right now)
    Inside Job

And I absolutely loath every other track on the album. It's been very love/hate for me.

    Real good song. Love it.

Unemployable is by far the worst peice of poo on Avocado. It totally kills the vibe of the record. The album never fully recovers after that

Bullshit. The only "vibe" Unemployable kills is the vibe of generic lameness that is the first few songs on the album.

i've read thru some of the replies on this thread and i am feelin' the hate for Pearl Jam (the album)....

i don't think Riot Act had this many negatives.

i'm not very objective when it comes to PJ. i like every thing they play, with the exception of 'Happy Birthday' on various 2003 Boots

    so, uh

    I'm Gone :D
Down the street you can hear her scream youre a disgrace
As she slams the door in his drunken face
    And now he stands outside
And all the neighbours start to gossip and drool
He cries oh, girl you must be mad,
What happened to the sweet love you and me had?
Against the door he leans and starts a scene,
And his tears fall and burn the garden green

  • i feel the same way about "come back". the intro to that song infuriates me to no end. when did pearl jam feel it necessary to get adult contemporary on us?
