you obviously have not bought the PJ Wembley from them..still not received and they can't (won't) even tell me where they are
Seetickets I do't like since they tried to screw me up with a fake IC date (on sale 1 day, cancelled the next, on a different date..they tried to keep the booking fee)
oh dear, that doesn't sound good. i can't remember where i got mine from, i think it may have been ticketmaster, but i haven't recieved them yet either so don't worry.
i didn't think they sent them out until nearer the time anyway?

afaik, people who ordered from Ticketmaster have received them.
and Seetickets wasn't selling any..so ..
I didn't get Cornell Astoria tickets as I can't have the time off work but I just saw the announcement that nme.com have put on their site regarding this gig where it says this is the first of his UK headline shows.
With the album not out here until late May/early June, it sounds promising he may visit other cities following the albums release
A democracy on paper, apparently well ordered, regularly subverted by irrational chaos.

Well bugger, if he ends up playin manchester i'm gonna have to sell me london tickets. Why can't everyone release the dates at the same time?
So, have any plans been made for meet up's? I assume the George would be the most appropriate venue? Was just wondering when the best time for the meetup would be i.e. the night before or a lunch booze up?

I'm thinking about taking the afternoon off...or at least leave early...but don't think the night before is the best idea.

Yep...can't do the night before either. Im trying to take as little time off work as poss so im considering travelling back home after the gig that night.
Now, i've looked on the GAY site and there doesnt seem to be anything listed for the 16th may after the gig.
What I dont know is there a 'night' on every wednesday at GAY which would effectively mean a curfew for Cornell????
If there's a curfew I have more of a chance going home that night, if not, i'll be taking the next day off work.

I was at the Astoria last night and the gig didn't finish until about 11.15
Obviously the meet up is at The George. What time are people getting down there for? I need to decide whether to take a half day off work or a full day!
Coool. So I guess we'll all see each other around 1.30 - 2 pm ish at the George then!! Wohoo!!
Ooh, do you reckon there will be a merch stand?
In the main Cornell tour thread someone posted pics of the Ladies T that's been sold so far and it looked good so hopefully it will be at the Astoria ... I'm sure there will be merch ...
So are we strangers now? Like rock and roll and the radio?

Just trying to estimate how much this extravaganza is going to cost me!
have you watched the webcast? He's sounding REALLY good!
Watched the webcast last night with a couple of beers, and it was superb - particularly Sunshower and JCP. His voice is still amazing and the band were excellent too. Can't wait for Wednesday!!

hugely over-rated... i'd much rather have a proper band supporting like Kings of Leon or the Kings of Leon.... or this band from america called Kings Of Leon
i'd be well cool to see/hear Hunger Strike with him... but other than that... urgh
Take it back! Blasphomey!
Beavis: All my friends are brown and red? What does that mean?
Butthead: It means that his friends are like turds and that they like suck.
Beavis: Heh heh. Oh yeah. Yeah! Get those spoons out of my face before I shove them up your butt!
Butthead: Huh huh.
