even put their names on them.
My nephew (8 years old) climbed up on stage last year after a small gig Taylor played with one of his side bands and asked him for a drum stick and he just smiled and handed it to him

In the vein of fun and making fun, here's what a friend said about a Foo show he'd seen last week:
"They were actually in Fayetteville, Arkansas on Friday. It was the best show I have ever been to in state. He is hilarious. They had to cancel the show in Jan. because he was sick. Dave gave the crowd much detail about the bug in his chest and ass that caused the cancellation. "You may think we are rock gods, but I get diarrhea just like the rest of you. I bet you thought those lazy cokeheads will never reschedule Arkansas!" Then they tore up a 2 hr. set. It was great.
Note to other bands: try to look like you are having as much fun as these guys, and play a song and then play another song. They reminded me of U2 in this respect. Not too many breaks, you don't need a drink and a minute break after a 4 minute song. Keep the momentum and play another f ing song."
When did they become a better band then Pearl Jam. Hate to say it but based on their last album and the Skin and bones album/tour before that they may just have surpassed PJ. The fact that they don't sweat playing the Grammy's, doing press, and making videos is also refreshing.
I saw them recently and enjoyed it. Dave is very entertaining...but musically something was missing to me.
There's a way I describe to my non-PJ fanatic friends what Alive or Evenflow is like at the Fleetcenter in Boston or the Gorge, etc...and that is "BIG".
With the FF..nothing seemed "BIG" to me. Good yes, I'd go see them again in a heartbeat, but imo..the intensity isn't the same. There's just no Mike McCready....
It's just one seat, log 28 row t, $...I paid 60 with all ticketbastard bend me over fees, but am just looking to get rid of it, so depends on your sitch...if times are real tight you can have it, I could leave it at will call. Better that than have it go to a scalper.

Saw them for the first time at the Forum last Weds...Very energetic show, it's hard to dislike what they do. It's just a fun time at a show. I think it was one of the most fun times I've had at a show that wasn't PJ...and I've been to about 50 concerts in my life.
Same league as PJ? I don't know...not to me personally, but there's nothing wrong with loving the Foo's.
ps This was by far the LOUDEST show I've been to live.....my ears were ringing well into Thursday!
