    Please play the south. I know it may even being asking too much but on the tiniest chance that it may be possible, I'm keeping hope and extending this wish out there. No complaining and sour grapes here, just hope....dammit PJ, you just make your shows too addicting!

    Here is the DJ Carter's website - he does the music news. If you scroll down and play the 1/29/07 news, he mentions Pearl Jam's European tour and also does not rule out an Orock show in April.

    However, in emails, he said he heard "something about late summer" and nothing is ever definite yet. (I hope it is NOT a PJ/foo fighter combo!)
    PJ cancelled Spring dates 2 days before the official announcement. anyway this online music news is the first where I have heard that April is not completely ruled out. but I am pissy-mistic at this point.

    Yea, but when you ask him about his so called "news", he says if you are in the ten club, you would hear it before him anyway, so makes me wonder if he knows anything relevant at all?

    I too remain pissy-mistic, for the moment at least.

    But when you talk to him, he has contacts within the station (Orock sponsored shows) and with the venues (the Orena, etc.) but like anything, it is not firm until it is officially announced (thus the 10c connection). He has said that both last fall and this month, they have planned shows and backed out (2) days before the official announcement. I imagine that he hears industry rumors, but cannot control the PJ management (Sony,Sony, Sony!). He tries, but is finding that PJ is very fickle these days.
