He doesn't post very often, but tends to be correct with info or squashing of rumors. While the post doesn't say much, it does lead you to believe that their is still a legit chance for this year. Between this and the radio guy in Florida, it sounds like its something that could happen, but if it does it may be a bit later in the year. All we can do is hope, right?

Yeah, I saw that post too and couldn't decide if it was a reason to hope or not.

Doesn't anyone think they might play some gigs around the NW (Showbox?) to ramp up before Europe, then come back to the US- presumably the South? If you remember the last time the guys came here (2003) it was springtime and surprisingly cold and wet at many of the venues (see B'ham). If I'm PJ I'll be waiting for all these babies to come into the world then going back on the road- so hold on for something at the end of the year like 98.

Well, what it says to me is that it isn't a definative "NO they aren't playing". Its more of a "they can't make up their minds" or they want to hold off on pulling the trgger on any more shows. I think the band, which has the final say, has more control than ever and they just move at their own pace. There are some unknowns out there for some of them too with little ones on the way. I am surprised they are even doing Europe in June with all that going on. I kinda thought if they were doing any dates it woulda been before then and then maybe a few months later.

I'm not sure what history you're looking at but I'm quite certain that I've posted here quite a few times prior to the party posts. But you're right...I don't come here often at all. But that doesn't mean that I'm not a valid part of the community. I didn't know your Synergy activity proved your loyalty. But I'm sure there are quite a few folks around here that will vouch for me. =D

Touring Fan is your website? If so, the European dates are wrong. Sept 4th & 5th were both Lisbon.

There's a lot of things wrong with it, actually. =D With school and buying a house and actually touring..I didn't have much time to work on it this past year. I'm hoping to get the new design up soon.

I have been out of town for a week with work and you can imagine the disappointment when I saw the news of the European tour. I don't know what to think anymore.

I felt the same way when I heard the news, but the more I thought about it the more I think it is a good thing. Any touring or movement going on with the band is a good sign. Keep the faith! They won't forget us...I'm hoping for a handfull of dates in the south this spring before the Europe shows.

I'm impressed with your design/effort. It was always fun to track shows. I guess the GA Euorpean shows put a twist to it.
