I thought that as well. Anyways, here's my list:
Alice in Chains
Chris Cornell/Soundgarden
Stone Temple Pilots"I try my best to chug, stomp, weep, whisper, moan, wheeze, scat, blurt, rage, whine, and seduce. With my voice I can sound like a girl, the boogieman, a Theremin, a cherry bomb, a clown, a doctor, a murderer. I can be tribal. Ironic. Or disturbed. My voice is really my instrument."

IMO my morning jacket is so overrated. I have one of their albums, Z, which is music thrown together that just doesnt seem to fit. Sorry MMJ fans I had to get that off my chest. A good live band doesnt mean they are a good band overall.severed hand thirteen2006: Gorge 7/23 2008: Hartford 6/27 Beacon 7/1 2009: Spectrum 10/30-31

From those two statements, you clearly don't know what good singing is.
It's a town full of losers and I'm pulling out of here to win0 -
I really cant stand Ben Harper...he flat out annoys me! Seems to have no variety in his music, voice always sounds the same....blah. I HATED the way he sung Indifference on The Garden DVD.
And U2...yeah, not feeling it. I can listen to a few of their songs, but the way so many people almost have an orgasm over them is over the top."....and was very surprised to see that he didnt actually have a recipe for anus-ankle soup." - Big Ed0 -
anything Mike Patton does... a lot of people seem to worship him.. i just can't get into his "music"0

Arcade Fire for sure. I just don't get it. I've given them probably a dozen or more chances and I just can't at all get into them. The Official Matt Cameron appreciation signature!0
