Post the bands that you dont give a damn about that constantly are brought up in threads.
My Morning Jacket
Soundgarden (I like them but come on, they have been broken up for years and Chris Cornell hasnt made anything worth a damn since then)
Death Cab For Cutie
Wilco
Drive By Truckers
I agree with you 1000% about Wilco, but MMJ? They are awesome.
Opps forgot The Beatles and Rolling Stones of my first list oh and I aint too keen on Bob Dylan although hate would be a strong word for him, I do like the odd song by him.
Alice in Chains
Chris Cornell/Soundgarden
Stone Temple Pilots
"I try my best to chug, stomp, weep, whisper, moan, wheeze, scat, blurt, rage, whine, and seduce. With my voice I can sound like a girl, the boogieman, a Theremin, a cherry bomb, a clown, a doctor, a murderer. I can be tribal. Ironic. Or disturbed. My voice is really my instrument."
IMO my morning jacket is so overrated. I have one of their albums, Z, which is music thrown together that just doesnt seem to fit. Sorry MMJ fans I had to get that off my chest. A good live band doesnt mean they are a good band overall.
I really cant stand Ben Harper...he flat out annoys me! Seems to have no variety in his music, voice always sounds the same....blah. I HATED the way he sung Indifference on The Garden DVD.
And U2...yeah, not feeling it. I can listen to a few of their songs, but the way so many people almost have an orgasm over them is over the top.
"....and was very surprised to see that he didnt actually have a recipe for anus-ankle soup." - Big Ed

Blind Melon
Stone Temple Pilots
Alice in Chains
Cornell
Ben Harper
Jack Johnson
edit: i forgot Tool... utter pish
all of them suck shite through a straw
oh scary... 40000 morbidly obese christians wearing fanny packs invading europe is probably the least scariest thing since I watched an edited version of The Care Bears movie in an extremely brightly lit cinema.
I have all their albums. I've seen em live. I've given them every chance i could and the best i can get myself to feel about them is that they are "ok"
the very same here!!!

I can't stand Neil Young's vocals

For me, its bands like pavement and the Flaming Lips.

Arcade Fire, NIN, Tool, DBT, Sigur Ros, QOTSA.
Also struggling with Wilco & MMJ. Like their live albums a lot though!
Hurts me to say this because I think the guy's a legend, but most of the 'non-Faith No More' stuff by Mike Patton!

"mistake's"?
if you're going to dog on me for spelling at least use correct grammar...
utter drivel.
I agree with you 1000% about Wilco, but MMJ? They are awesome.
Oasis
U2
However, I've given both of them multiple chances and just a few weeks ago Kings of Leon "stuck" for me!
I still don't "get" My Morning Jacket. Lord knows I've tried and tried and tried. And God dammit - I'm going to try with their new album again.
We'll see...hopefully they break through for me.
I thought everyone here hated U2 haha.
To be fair I think there is a 50/50 split, lol.:)

So it's not your thing, great. But don't call it utter drivel.
Queens of the Stone Age? Unlistenable?? Everyones got opinions but that just blows me away.

Radiohead-Cant stand the voice or the music
From those two statements, you clearly don't know what good singing is.
And U2...yeah, not feeling it. I can listen to a few of their songs, but the way so many people almost have an orgasm over them is over the top.
