Most of the vocalists mentioned here with better range than Bowie don't have half his skill in using their voice to express different emotions and characters all within the same song. They don't call him "The Chameleon" for nothing.

Well of course I disagree there....Cornell IMO is the one who shines on that song. He comes from out of nowhere with incredible power...and completely stealing the show from Vedder.
