mumbling monosyllabic moments
nobody understands
life's to short for explanations
you've got to many big plans
you've mapped out every single second
of what you'll do when your done
you keep your caliber loaded
no-one's gonna fuck this up
you drive the exact speed limit
keep of a track or your miles
listen to radio music
smiling when everyone else smiles
you should take a beating willing
do it in the name of the cause
do it for the feeling that one day
maybe you could be your own boss
maybe get a beautifull woman
get a fat piece of land
get a couple of kids
a prototypical civilian
housing towards the future
mining towards the sun
you keep you caliber loaded
no-one's gonna fuck this up
you have got to stay on top
don't forget to load it up
'We're learning songs for baby Jesus' birthday. His mum and dad were Merry and Joseph. He had a bed made of clay and the three kings bought him Gold, Frankenstein and Merv as presents.'
Isn't there a support slot in London on the 9th as well???? I couldn't find where the tickets were on sale yesterday??? I been on the Wintersleep board a few times but its dead over there so I had to come over here to share the excitement.
I'm Buskin for Oxjam tomorrow, I might do a couple of Wintersleep songs to celebrate

It's the 8th and the link for tix is in the Tour section of the wintersleep board..
This band is soooo good....cannot stop listening to all their stuff.....anyone catch them back in '05 with PJ??????
I caught both bands that year but unfotunately not together in St Johns, that would have been just beautiful. Don't know if I mentioned this before but apparently Eddie phoned up Jud and asked him to show him around.......
I figured out how to play Faithful Guide on the guitar today

All three of their albums are amazing, but Welcome to the Night Sky is the one that makes me wet my pants.
"I try my best to chug, stomp, weep, whisper, moan, wheeze, scat, blurt, rage, whine, and seduce. With my voice I can sound like a girl, the boogieman, a Theremin, a cherry bomb, a clown, a doctor, a murderer. I can be tribal. Ironic. Or disturbed. My voice is really my instrument."

Jamie you dark horse.....why wasn't I told you were going??
Full review please....as soon as you like
Mark and I are seeing them on Monday
Well, I couldn't possibly review them as I only saw the last 3 songs or so, and I've no idea of them, they just sounded pretty cool to me . Black mountain are awesome, I'm not usually 'up' on this kinda thing but my buddy is pretty into the more 'obscure' bands and he loaned me their cd's, which are now totally on my mp3 player
Are Black Mountain playing when you go?

I don't think so. Sarah tells me Wintersleep are starting at 10pm.. and I was always under the impression they were headlining this time. This tour seems to have been a weird mix of support and headline gigs for them.
COME ON MONDAY!!!
