    I was so excited to hear Wintersleep played on The Vinyl Cafe on sunday morning!! I always knew Stuart McLean was the coolest guy ever!! :D

    At my parents house, the radio is always tuned to CBC, so on Sunday morning, I was watching TV in the basement, and my mom was upstairs on the computer, listening to the radio. When I heard that opening note of Weighty Ghost I started shouting "Wintersleep!!! Wintersleep!!!" from the basement and ran upstairs.... just at the same time, my mom pokes her head out of the computer room, saying "Hey! That band you like is on the radio!"

    haha... my family is so sick of hearing my talk about these guys.... :o:D

    Damn, looks like the pre-sale tix are sold out. When I click the link on the Wintersleep site, I get a message saying "there are no products available in this category" or something like that. I gues I'll have to try on Saturday morning for the public on-sale.

    to tell you the truth, i didn't actually click the link yesterday to see if the tickets were there.... i just assumed... :o

    i'm a bit suprised if they're sold out... there was only one post about it on their forum... and no replies... :confused:

    Hey direwolf I just tried (through Ticketmaster) and was able to get a ticket for the pre-sale. Try "sonic" for a password and that should get you through.

    Got my tickets this morning for the Calgary show! All is well with the universe.

    did you guys catch Wintersleep on the ECMA special on CBC last night? They showed a great version of Dead Letter from one of the Fredericton shows. wish they could have shown the whole set!! :D

    i also saw Joel Plaskett, and Hey Rosetta!, which i really liked... :)

    The tickets are a little pricey, but I think it would be worth it just to see the Hip, Wintersleep, Sammy Roberts, and Tom Petty all at the same show. The rest of the lineup isn't too shabby either.

    hey suzie-q! i miss you too! i am obsessed.... and it all started with you at the HOB. and seeing Loel outside the hotel... "hey! drummer guy!" :D

    i wish i could make it down for the Ed show, but i'm off to Montreal the following weekend, and i think that'll be a bit to much travel for one week! :eek:

    This Pemberton Festival is sounding pretty freakin' awesome though! and I know how much you love BC! i think we should do it!

    I know the guys are doing the Brighton Festival, but I can't make it...
    It seems a long way to come just for that...

    ive emailed them and asked if and when it will be released on vinyl. this was a while ago, at the time, all they said was they where working on it. maybe if some more people email them with the same question they will hurry up and get it in motion : D

    almost as good as insomnia! insomnia, especially on vinyl, feels like the band is playing the instruments right beside you.
