$16.99, and since i don't currently own a turntable which was made after the 1950's, no.... ;):p

i have recently cleared some space on the shelving unit in my living room.... so perhaps a new record player is the cards... :)

maybe you read me wrong, wasnt asking for your copy :-P, just wondering if these are still selling for a decent price. i dont see them around the shops here in halifax anymore so i have a feeling they are becoming a little more rare.

hehe... perhaps you read me wrong... i meant that since i don't have a functioning record player, that the answer to your second question is 'no', i didn't spin it yet...

That is awesome but I have to wonder how a band that formed in 2001 and has 3 full length albums behind them are considered "New". Not that I care cause this will hopefully just bring them more attention and fans. Guess it's just a crazy country we live in.

Get to see them this Saturday! Can't wait!

God damn, what a great show the other night! The band blew the roof off the place as usual and the crowd was awesome. Not only was the show completely sold out, but it was also the largest venue they've ever played in Calgary. The guys seemed genuinely surprised and humbled by both the size and the enthusiasm of the crowd. I saw them the last time they came through town as well, but it was a much smaller show. In less than 5 months they went from playing a small 500-capacity club to selling over 1000 tickets for their gig at Macewan Hall. Amazing!

Has anybody else noticed that Miasmal Smoke And The Yellow Bellied Freaks gets better the louder you listen to it?
