I just read the whole thread and want to clarify here....it's $100 donation and after that you can buy up to 6 balcony tickets for $250 each?

And I can't believe NYPJ was banned. Total BS

    What happened to NYPJ?

i just called, and they put me through to a voicemail and i had to leave my name and # for tickets

seems weird...anyone else get through recently?

i think the one and only staffer who is handling the tickets is more than likely at lunch. she will be hammered with voivemail upon her return! :p

i wish i had seen this thread before noon. now i am just hanging and waiting. hope i hear back before 2, when i usually go to lunch. :D

and yes....$100 donation and you can buy up to 6 tickets. price levels of $250, 350 and onwards........i think? they top at 2,500K. i don't remember now.

Do we know that he was banned for this heads up?
If so that's some pretty bad moderating in my opinion. That sounds a bit like AT&T action form lollapalooza if you ask me. Someone says something you don't like and get the news out on a show, and what seems to me to get a whole lot of cash to a good organization and you ban him? Very nice!

What ever happened to finding out the facts before rendering judgement?

I assumed you got it from the 10C sale, but if you got it from Klaussen or at the show you could fetch way more than that for it ...

    :)

Yes, I got it from the Ten Club. I'm most likely going to hold on to it, though.

  • I just hope im clear on whats happenned. I should have donated days ago when i found out about this. She took my credit card info over the phone, and said she will call me back tomorrow..

Im just not sure if the tickets are reserved already, or does she wait till the donation is recieved to go ahead and reserve the tickets.

i called right after possimists first post. the girl that is handeling the ticket sales, Lucy, is a sweetheart! i told her to be prepared because she will be getting bombarded any second with phone calls. She found that funny.

I was told as long as they confirm that I made at least $100 donation, which will be done tomorrow morning, I'm in. She's supposed to call me tomorrow with final confirmation, and then the tickets will be mailed June 16th (I think she said)

Yes, there is only ONE person handling this - and she is wonderful.....so be patient.

Minimum donation is $100. A few weeks ago it was $200....they lowered it - props to PJ I suppose. I am glad I waited to donate....

You can get up to 6 tix. So if you get the cheapest $250 and you get 6 - you can divide the donation between the 6 people going. so each ticket becomes about $267. no fees or charges on top of it.

I am so happy I have tickets :D

and yes NYPJ1 - permanent ban - he doesn't really know what happened - said he didn't even care to ask at this point. ridiculous if you ask me...

ha... i love when flippers reveal their true motivation for buying a poster when they really need the money... that ugly POS isnt worth the $25 you probably paid for it let alone over $100... atleast whatever you end up overcharging will go to charity

this show sounds like itll be pretty sweet! and a good cause! i hope everyone who goes has a great time!

is this place bigger or smaller than the vic?

Anyone know if you have to be the donating member to go to the show? I don't have the money for it at this point, and my uncle was going to by me one ticket. I'm fearing that this isn't possible.

what i took from this thread is you gotta donate $100 first... and then you can buy your 1 ticket... so it would cost your uncle $350 total... the initial $100 donation is tax deductable tho i guess
