Why oh why is it so hard for 10C people to get back to us on fundraisers?
I mean we are trying to raise money for worthy causes. Its not like we just want free stuff.....sheesh.

I am going to the Vancouver show (1st one) and live in the city. I am a high school teacher in Burnaby (city bordering Vancouver) and this summer I am taking a team of 12 high school students to Uganda for 3 weeks where we will be working on several projects in some very remote areas of the country. Because the school board considers Uganda to be a high risk area, they will not "sponsor" our trip meaning we cannot advertise or fund raise through regular school avenues (ie dances or pizza sales etc.). Furthermore, we cannot and do not receive any funding from the school or school board.
We have a very enthusiastic team who really want to make a difference and it will be a profound experience to help these students experience an entire new world. Just wondering if there was any way that the tenclub or the fundraiser could help out even a little bit.

If you'd like to volunteer to organize or help out the day of the event that would be awesome! Organizing an event doesn't take a lot of experience; just a little bit of research/footwork, some promotion here and a lot of energy the day of the event. We can give you as much or as little help as you'd like. Wishlist will provide EV pick t-shirts & stickers, wristbands and other goodies for each EV show and the rest of the shirts, etc. for PJ event fundraisers.

Any thoughts on supporting the Station Family Fund? It's the charity that supports victims and families of the Station Nightclub Tragedy in Warwick, RI on 2/20/03. 'Lil Rhody never gets a PJ show, but there are plenty of RI fans who travel to CT and MA to catch Pearl Jam. Plus, this tragedy could have happened anywhere anytime.
I have no personal allegiance to the fund, but this was the first thing I thought of.
Will you be coming down to LA? Cause I won't be in Van :( I hope you'll be comin down - it'll be awesome to hang again!!
