I believe a variation of Blind Dogs was played during the Self-Pollution Radio broadcast back in '95. I have the PJ, SG, and MS sets.

Anyone here have any of those '94 shows with Fresh Tendrils? Anyone here ever heard that song live? Really it's one of my personal faves from Superunknown and I'd like to hear it live..I'll keep an eye out on DIME, but I don't know if I'll have much luck.
  • Anybody have Holy Water live?

M.M.R. and D.I.S., thanks for posting Fresh Tendrils, it sounds great. This one is a very much overlooked song, and Cornell and the boys sound great performing this one back in '94. Now if someone can get the whole concert, that would be respect.

Oh thanks man! Shame they never played Holy Water, but this one sounds great.

Maybe someone can track down one of the rare "New Damage" performances now, lol.

According to db.etree.org, New Damage was played once, on 02/08/94 Club Citta' Kawasaki, Tokyo, Japan. I don't have this boot
And Holy Water was also played only once, on 03/19/92 Nighttown, Rotterdam, Holland. This boot I have (and I recently uploaded on dime), but it's incomplete and doesn't have Holy Water.

I need to confirm this on the Soundgarden Live Guide, but can't access it right now

there's a guide, but it's not online anymore. But you can access it through the archive.org. The archive.org was down, but it's back up. You can access it here:

So, according to the SG Live Guide, New Damage was indeed played once:

    February 08, 1994: Tokyo, Japan
    Source #1: professional video (incomplete)
Source #2: DAT audience audio, A
Notes: This was Soundgarden's first show in Japan. "Spoonman", "Fell on Black Days", and an interview with the band is circulating from the professional video. The complete show lasted around 90 minutes, featuring the last known performances of "Get on the Snake" and "Hunted Down" and the only known performance of "New Damage". The Japanese security was very tight, rendering the audience virtually lifeless. Chris closes the show with several minutes of feedback at the end of "Slaves and Bulldozers".
Setlist: Room a Thousand Years Wide, Searching With My Good Eye Closed, Flower, Rusty Cage, I Awake, Hands All Over, Face Pollution, Gun, Fell on Black Days, Hunted Down, jam, Spoonman, Beyond the Wheel, Get on the Snake, Somewhere, Mind Riot, New Damage, Jesus Christ Pose, Slaves and Bulldozers

But there's no mention of Holy Water, what makes me wonder why the hell someone put the song on the setlist over at db.etree

Is there any chance anyone would have this show?

Sorry, I only have the Perth show from the Big Day Out Festival. I think the Gold Coast date wasn't even recorded

How awesome is M.C.? Because of all these great Soundgarden shows she has uploaded, I never have to be held hostage to CC's corny songs from his new solo cd...

Seriously? This is the first live version of Black Hole Sun I've heard, not including the solo 1996 Cornell performances and the MTV 1996 Broadcast. I'd even say their MTV Europe 1996 concert had a less faithful version of BHS than this show did. I think the solo was well done, and I like that you can hear the guitar riff afterwards quite cleanly, because Cornell doesn't sing some of the vocals.

And M.C. you are on fire, keep up the good work.
  • check out youtube there are the awesome concert videos of Soundgarden includin kool performance of Head Down and others like 4th of July, Like Suicide and Christi! plus more, highly recomend ppl check them out,
