I got something to say. Im not saying Fuck cornell but men the last shows had included excelent set lists , with SG and Audio almost all the tour was the same set (of course excelent perfomances) but he got that idea years later , he's trying to do set's like pearl jam ( a mix of underrated songs, covers,b sides , classicss,,,,) so he would have done that years before now....and yeah is a big rumour that the b sides or box thin of sg rare shit is coming out
Hi there, first of all big kudos to Marie Curie for posting top notch Soundgarden Bootlegs. Is it possible to repost the 96 Denver bootleg, saw "Helter Skelter" on Youtube, amazing. And does someone have a bootleg from the 96 concert at the Zenith in Munich. I was there, what's outstanding in Munich was the version of "Black Hole Sun", Chris played a beautiful intro to the song. The Intro was reverb and delay drenched. I've downloaded the London and the Glasgow bootleg but he never did it there. I've also attended the 94 concert at the Terminal 1 in Munich. This was also a cool concert. They where in a fab mood, selecting someone from the audience to have a beer with them on stage. Chris apologized several times for the long intro. (The intro tape, "Night Surf", was going on a long time but they didn't have a backdrop screen to show the film, so the intro was played over an empty stage)
My HD died this week... and I didn't have a back-up :(
I'll my Soundgarden boots were in there
I'm going to send to a place to see if I can recover the data, but I don't know...
“Life is life everywhere. Life is in ourselves and not outside us. There will be men beside me, and the important thing is to be a man among men and to remain a man always, whatever the misfortunes, not to despair and not to fall - that is the aim of life, that is its purpose.”

fuckk,,,,its so bad dude.....damn damn damn thats a shame to recover all that stuff its almost imposible...its a tragedy now whowill upload all the ilegal shit ?
I took my HD to a data recovery place, and they told me it's pratically unrecoverable. unbelievable! It was a new HD, less than 2 years old! I have a 12 year-old HD that never had any issues! Anyway, some nice people over at Dime already offered some help, so I should have everything back soon

Really a bugger to hear that Marie Curie. I'm glad to hear people at Dime are helping you out. If you still are missing some records afterwards let us know. We'll be more than glad to help you out.
I heard on the past 2 years that there was an soundgarden unplugged , but it wasn't boradcated or even recorded , fot t.v. , maybe on this rarities thing that theyre planning to do thay are gonna realase some of that stuff , but who knows
Yeah I first heard about this legendary Soundgarden Unplugged thing as well. I heard they did some sorta political comment that the MTV execs didn't want on the air so it was never released...probably sitting in a film can in a warehouse somewhere and will never see the light of day. Either that or it never happened.
Hey Marie, do you know much about that Calgary Pro-shot 1994 show? Do you know if any of this footage besides kickstand has been leaked? Anyway, I can't imagine losing all my bootlegs, it must be horrible. I also had an HD crash last Spring but lucky I could recover my data. How exactly did yours die? Don't mean to sound selfish here but it could probably save me a future crash. Anyway, good luck on getting all the shows back. Between all your links here and Dime you probably will.

What I know about the Calgary show:
August 11, 1994: Calgary, Alberta Max Bell Arena
Support act: You Am I
Sources: professional video, A+ (incomplete)
Notes: Clips from the pro-video can be found all over the place. "Searching With My Good Eye Closed" can be found on the Hype! documentary, clips of "My Wave" can be seen in many of the scenes in the "My Wave" video, "Kickstand" can be found on the Alive in the Superunknown CD-Rom, and clips of "Superunknown" and "Head Down" (as evidenced by footage of Ben playing drums with Matt) can be seen in the background of some of the many "Superunknown" videos.
Setlist: My Wave, Searching With My Good Eye Closed, Superunknown, Kickstand, Head Down
It was obviously professionally taped, I would say the entire show. The tape must be sitting taking dust somewhere at Kim Thayil's house (as well the b-sides and outtakes)
About my HD, it was 160gb Maxtor (don't buy it!). I was only a year and a half old. The guy at the data recovery place told me it had too many bad blocks and because of that the reading-head was bumping (and making a horrible noise) and couldn't read the HD. I was told bad blocks can be caused by the power going down when your pc is on (which unfortunately happens a lot where I live). But I have a 12 year old HD that still works perfectly, so I would just say that my Maxtor HD was just a piece pf crap to begin with.
Oh, and I think this MTV Unplugged is just a myth and never happened

So you really think Kim has it? I actually find that comforting, instead of having some obscure possibly out of business Canadian TV station holding it. I mean I've thought to myself that if I ever met any of the members, I'd try and ask them about that show, and tell them that the fans really want a DVD of it or something.
Anyway, short story long...I hear very bad things about Maxtor, go Seagate or Western Digital. I had an HD crash myself, last Spring..it was horrible. I mean that HDD I must have had at least a hundred hard shutdowns. But thankfully my new HD is a Seagate, and I treat it quite well. I can proudly say I can't have had more than 15 hard shutdowns in the almost two years I've had it, so I hope I can keep this thing in good shape like you did with your 12 year old one. Anyway, the Unplugged thing is a rumor that we don't know how it will turn out. I mean, Nirvana, AIC, PJ, even STP had Unplugged shows...so I'm thinking they had to have gotten Soundgarden on there, and it is very possible they didn't air it over to political comments. I mean, that's why the PJ unplugged never got a mass release, we're lucky we have that footage. At any rate, we just don't know. The band probably doesn't know of the rumor, so they've probably never bothered on confirming or denying it's existence in any interviews. It's definitely still something cool to think about, though..
You're right Marie, I guess the whole show was taped and is lining a vault somewhere. If you watch "Hype" closely you see a lot of filming was done 'round Soundgardens concert, e. g. "People lining outside the arena, close-up of the ticket someone is holding, crew installing the loudspeakers", this could be used as a "behind the scenes". Also interesting after Chris has finished the intro to "SWMGEC" the camera pans to the stage and you can clearly see the roadies dragging a curtain away. This curtain wasn't used for "SWMGEC" but for the intro "Nightsurf" with the film. I guess the crew also filmed the soundcheck, if you watch the video to "My Wave," you have two versions of Chris one sweating and singing the other one not sweating and singing plus wearing some sort of artist backstage pass.
I hope we'll all be still alive when the Calgary concert finally sees the light of day. ;-)
Marie, can you or anyone else give me info on the silver titled"live usa 1994"please?There is no other info except the title.Thank you!
You mean the best bootleg artwork ever? :P
It was up for download on the Trader's Den a while ago (it's gone now, as well my copy that died with my HD). I don't think there's any info about what show that silver came from... Do you have it? Would you mind sharing? At least the artwork?
