“Life is life everywhere. Life is in ourselves and not outside us. There will be men beside me, and the important thing is to be a man among men and to remain a man always, whatever the misfortunes, not to despair and not to fall - that is the aim of life, that is its purpose.”
Fyodor Dostoyevsky
I'll be seeding it as much as I can. Can't be seeding the whole night, the computer is in the same room as I sleep and the fan is to loud.
Im living CET so seeding during the day means seeding in the night in the US.
god damn i wish i spoke German or it was in english i finally got to watch it!
thanks again.
It's a pretty lengthy interview and on parts 5 and 8 there are live clips of a show they played in Birmingham in 1992. Now I checked the Live Guide (the old one, as the new one wasn't saved at the archive.og ) and there's no reference of a Birmingham show in 92 there. So I guess that's another pro-shot show that'll never see the light of day...
Does anyone know which show that footage came from?

Almost certainly the Gathering Of The Tribes Festival, Mountain View, CA, USA on October 6th, 1990. It looks like it might have been filmed over two shows though, but I can't make a definitive judgement.
I apologize about the Live Guide-my host deleted it and I've been too busy to put it back up. It will be back up by November at the latest. I'm still researching shows and stuff. I need to replace my DVD burner in my laptop before I can start torrenting stuff, but I have all my shows back.
September xx, 1989: Los Angeles, CA
Sources: soundboard audio, A+
Notes: Westwood One has broadcast this show on numerous occasions.
Setlist: Come Together, Ugly Truth, Get on the Snake, Mood for Trouble, I Awake, Hands All Over, Beyond the Wheel
I'm really interested in gettin' pre-'90 bootlegs.
I was readin' up on the live guide and saw this one, and that it was a soundboard.
So i'm really interested in finding this one if anyone who has it can find it in their hearts to upload.
So yeah, if anyones got any good pre-'90 SG boots, they should be so kind and upload 'em.
He is a Hebrew sage, he says 'vanity of vanities the
whole thing is a vain parade. It has no meaning'.
ive been aware of this for a while but does anyone know what show that came from? the person who posted it says it came from 8/9/88 (not on the SG live guide). it is easily one of the most impressive vocal pieces (especially at 3:40 or so, the falsetto from the studio version is replaced with head voice, god like power) from any singer ever.
if anyone has this, u MUST upload it. id even pay for it.
Ya know, I always see this thread but never have opened it. I like Soundgarden. I'm hardly their biggest fan (I actually prefer Audioslave), and I've never heard any live shit them outside of their Self-Pollution Radio set.
Now I'm sure everyone in this thread is pretty knowledgeable about their Soundgarden boots. Dare I say almost as obsessive as we all are with our PJ boots? Anyway, I would very much appreciate if someone could direct me to the BEST Soundgarden live recording out there. The soundboard to end all soundboards. The Soundgarden equivalent to Pearl Jam's Atlanta '94 show. A high-quality soundboard. Thanks in advance.
smokestack lightening wasnt performed at that show according to the SG live guide?
You're right, it wasn't. I was being lazy and didn't listen to it. It's from one of the Europe 1989 shows, either 5/22/89 or 5/xx/89 (Bergamo), almost certainly.

Doesn't exist. Soundgarden boards are almost impossible to come by; there's only a few full shows, and nothing post-1992. No boards longer than 50 minutes too. I'm a really big fan of 2/12/89 as far as SBDs go but if you want the best bootleg I'd go with 2/08/94 (Tokyo) or 9/09/95 from (Italy). If you like BMF shows 5/02/92 is pretty sweet. Those are all A/A- audience recordings.
Sorry...I want a definitive SBD of Soundgarden as much as you do.
god damn i wish i spoke German or it was in english i finally got to watch it!

They should have left it in English and just subtitled it in German, although I like the dubbing voices. The big Problem is the dubbing always starts a notch later, so you hear the beginning in English and might think "Oh, that sounds interesting" but then the dubbing sets in.
Hopefully someone will subtitle it.

I once had the whole concert in audio but, I just lost my hdd 2 months ago so I'm broke now. I also have "Beyond The Wheel" from that unearthly concert and that performance may even be the best ever. I can upload it if you want, but please if anyone has all the songs, for cornell's sake upload it

this is the best "beyond the wheel" performance ever. Chris goes higher than the studio version with full of head voices.
The version on the BHS single is pretty amazing too.
My DVD burner is still broken. I've coaxed a few DVDRs out of it but it isn't pretty. I can't upload new stuff until I get it fixed, alas.
Damn right it is! His voice is ridiculous on that! I used that many times in high school to show people why Cornell was the greatest vocalist alive
