talk about good fucking seats!! were were 3 rows behind the stage, dead center. had an amazing view of Max and the rest of the band. finally got to see "Incident" live. other highlights for me were:

Thundercrack (love to hear a soundboard version of this one)
Town Called Heartbreak (stick around for this one)
    Magic (stunning)
The Ties That Bind (sounding very fresh)
Reason To Believe (i love the Bullit mic)

Overall it was definitely the experience it's hyped up to be. The new songs sound great, and we got some awesome classics. "She's the One" and "Badlands" were some of my favorites. The rearrangement of "Reason to Believe" is awesome. I could have done without "Town Called Heartbreak" but Bruce made up with it with the surprises. "American Land" is a really bad closer though...it's obvious from how big a deal the band AND the crowd makes that they should be closing with one of his many anthems...I'm not one of those casual fans who's there to hear the hits, but come on, how can you argue with how "Born to Run" goes down. It's epic.
I've faced it, a life wasted, and I'm never going back again.

I've seen Bruce 42 times , second only to 68 PJ , and last night harkened me back to the 6 nights of four hour plus exhilaration and exhaustion of Philly 84. The band was off the hook and the crowd loudly played their part .

Incident last night is as close as I get to religion. To hear a full band Incident , the late , great " Hungry " Ed Sciaky's fave , was amazing . Soozie's fiddle brings back memories of listening to 1974 versions of Incident with Suki Lahav's incredible string work . What a great love story , mini opera , call it what you will .

Add Born To Run , Thundercrack , the song that was Rosalita before Rosalita was Rosalita , Night , She's The One , Prove It All Night , Promised Land , Cadillac Ranch , Reason To Believe , Dancin' In The Dark , and the brilliant stuff from Magic ...Radio Nowhere , Devil's Arcade , Girls In Their Summer Clothes . HOLY S*** moment after HOLY S*** moment. Can't wait to catch Bruce & Co. at the Garden.

There are no wrong nights with Bruce. Just different setlists . I loved Friday night as well . Hearing seven , I think it was seven , songs from Magic live for the first time was amazing. I really love the new album . Candy's Room was off the hook . Ditto She's The One. Badlands shortened from its 03 run out is better Badlands imho . Promised Land , Born To Run , Thundercrack . Whoa Nelly !

Different night , but not wrong night.

Hoping for 08 also , though taking vacay for Bruce and , hopefully , PJ , could prove challenging .I know.... Bruce/PJ or PJ/Bruce together. Make it easy on those of us who're fans of both bands . It's an election year after all .

WOW. I haven't had time to get on here until now, but let me just say that the two shows in Philly were AMAZING experiences. They were those kinds of concerts that leave you on cloud nine for a few days after.

I'd have to say the first night was a little bit better than the second night, just because it was all new for me the first night. Just incredible experiences.

And I love American Land! Such a fun closer.
It's a town full of losers and I'm pulling out of here to win

Springsteen A Lock For Another No. 1 Album

    October 07, 2007, 4:30 PM ET

    Geoff Mayfield, L.A.
Bruce Springsteen is a lock to add another No. 1 album to his resume, according to Nielsen SoundScan's Friday Building Chart, released Oct. 5. Unweighted sales through close of business Thursday saw "Magic" leading the next best selling album by almost a 2-to-1 margin.

Rascal Flatts' "Still Feels Good" was runner-up on the Friday mid-term report, while matchbox twenty's "Exile on Mainstream" was the second-best seller among albums released Oct. 2. New albums by Soulja Boy, J. Holiday, Trey Songz, Faith Hill and Brooks & Dunn each have a shot at top 10 chart starts, according to the Friday chart.

Springsteen's "Magic" had piled up 165,000 copies on the Oct. 5 chart, up from 89,000 on the Wednesday Building Chart. Springsteen's total on the Friday report beats the 155,000 that Reba McEntire had posted two weeks earlier on the Friday Building Chart on her way a final chart-leading total of 301,000.

This would mark Springsteen's third No. 1 on The Billboard 200 among his last four studio albums. "The Rising" and "Devils & Dust" each bowed at No. 1 in 2003 and 2005, respectively, while last year's "We Shall Overcome: The Seeger Sessions" peaked at No. 3.

Nielsen SounddScan's Building Charts post sales through Tuesday and through Thursday from Trans World Entertainment, Best Buy, iTunes, Circuit City and Borders, and from mass merchants Target, Anderson Merchandisers and Handleman Co., the last two being the wholesalers that place music in Wal-Mart stores. Billboard estimates the Building panel accounts of 79% of U.S. music sales.

Bath, I must say. The work you do in this thread is amazing!!!

I've just recently got into Bruce(because of a girl :) ). Was able to get her(and myself) a show he did in 1974. The Cleveland Radio show.
Well, the show is like 4 hours long(3 SETS!!!), and INCREDIBLE. And she is from Cleveland so she loves it.

Thanks again and keep it up. I'm sure if Bruce does do a show out here, i know about it here first.
