had my U2/PJ Hawaii framed for a while now so thought i'd finally post a pic of it.
it cost me an arm and a leg cause its framed twice, the blue inset isnt a matte, its actually another frame within the main black one, it kicks ass. totally worth it

Thanks KJ, much appreciated. I haven't hung it on the wall yet, I put it right next to the tv, so I can see it all the time.
I have the Lolla Ames left to get framed. I love how that Katowice looks with the black mat and the white frame. What do you guys think about that for the Lolla Ames monster? Or any suggestions?
Thanks in advance.Post edited by Indifference86 on0 -
Not a PJ poster, but framed by MF. He did an awesome job, one of my favs. The pic doesn't due it justice but I had to post it.

O.K. I've been wanting to post mine up here for a while, but I'm pretty stupid and don't really get computers, so here goes nothing. There are more to come, but these are definitely some of my favorites!

The one I really can't wait to frame is my Klausen Hawaii '06, but it's so goddamn big I can't really afford it right now (too many posters out there!).92xxx0 -

Really nice collection but why, why, why do you use small thin frame...specially silver one, please don't do it again on Klausen Hawaii.
It's just my opinionnot a fan of small thin frame, sorry, but you have a great collection.

Thanks. That's exactly the feedback I'm looking for. I'm always up for new ideas. The next posters I'm planning on framing (unless I acquire any of my wanted 96's in the meantime) are the Klausen Hawaii and the '00 Cali trio. Any suggestions/ideas on what will work better?92xxx0 -
some of my posters, not all framed, currently my PJ at Benaroya Hall and PJ Chicago Vic posters are getting framed.

I don't have yet hawaii Klausen so I don't know what to do and that one is really tricky, not easy poster to frame, but I've seen some of them here, they where good.
Here some suggestions for other frames:
Not all posters need mat, some of them is better without, some example:
Italia 06
http://i159.photobucket.com/albums/t149/ninodu/Italia.jpg
(I use 3 frames as Italian flag)
Atalanta 03
http://i159.photobucket.com/albums/t149/ninodu/ATALANTA-03.jpg
(this is combination of small inside and big outside frame, sometimes is just more then enough)
frames with mat
Dusseldorf 07
http://i159.photobucket.com/albums/t149/ninodu/Dusseldorf.jpg
(this is mat + 2 frames, perfect match)
Gorge Ames
http://i159.photobucket.com/albums/t149/ninodu/GorgeAmes.jpg
(this is weird combination but it works for me)
here my only 96 poster
http://i159.photobucket.com/albums/t149/ninodu/Roma.jpg
(if I could use round mat cut inside frame that would be perfect)
Using 2/3 mat's is also sometimes good solution.
Oh, last thing.
The way I do my frames (40 so far) I always do a frame for each poster separately, I am thinking about pieces of art not about room where it would go. If you want to use all black frames because is matching your furniture that is ok, but that way where is the fun.
That's way I dedicate each poster his frame.
Best solution is if you can contact Master Frame from this thread and give him a poster to frame, that way you win 100%
apologies for the long post:)

Here is my Klausen (posted earlier) with black frame and black mat to keep it as simple and cheap as possible but still has a modern look to it.

I'm ambitious already in this new year!
I took pictures and assembled a slide show, better late then never.
All my Pearl Jam framed items and a few others.
Enjoy!
