They are inside the matting a bit around the edges. Except for the pin.

Ahhh, think I got you now. So the hole in the matting for the pick is a little bit smaller than the pick and basically the matting has to be placed perfectly over them somehow. Glad I'm not a framer lol. My guy wanted to use some sort of an adhesive to hold them in place...not! Anyways I'm just seeing if there is a better way, thanks for the input

Picked up these from the framers yesterday. Really love the MK one in a simple frame and I had the back done in perspex to keep Brad's message visible too. Not convinced my idea of having the yellow matte on the LA one was the right decision but I'm starting to warm to it.

Took my Moline s/n print to Michael's last night. This will be my first framed poster. Kind of nervous about how it will come out. I let the lady working there lead me in direction since she has done this so many times. It's going to be double matted with green as the primary color and black as the 2nd matte color. Since I left, I'm kind of afraid green as the primary matte color won't come out good. We'll see in 2 weeks I guess. They have a 60% off + 20% off sale at Michael's now (maybe they always have this sale...dunno). Can't wait to see this!

Did they put it on the computer to give you a view of what it will most likely look like? I usually take a picture of it. I've done 5 posters through Michaels and they usually turn out to look a lot better than the preview shot.

The four I've posted in this thread have been done at Michaels. The guy at my store pretty much picked the mat colors and I think they turned out great.

Not as in love with this as I am with my Moline, but I wanted to do something beyond just standard rectangles on the shows I attended. So this is what I came up with on St. Paul. (Cincinnati, I'll put in a separate post.)

Art directed by me. Openings cut and stuff mounted by Hobby Lobby. I've got a few nitpicks, but it's liveable.
