Well, I was in front of Mike that night and didn't do my homework. I didn't know his picks spelled out his name. So he was showing us with picks (keep in mind we are on a beach so it's hard to find a pick once it hits the sand). So the folks up front (including me) were handing out picks to help others get a keepsake from the show.

When I got back to the hotel I had I-K-E. So I had to get the M from ebay.

It took me 15 minutes to figure out how to post the picture--and that was my result. So it goes.

Looking for some quick help with matte color suggestions. My print is at the framer, and I am having second thoughts on my selections. Any opinions? Two mattes, looking for outside and inside combo selections. Simple black frame. Will reward with a post of all 5 of my posters, once they are framed. Thanks!

Thanks for the feedback. I like the idea, and am considering it. I just hesitate to use yellow in such an extensive way . Currently it is slated to run a white border with navy interior. I am afraid it will be too boring. Yellow certainly wouldn't be boring.

If you're concerned that it might be too much yellow...
and since you're using a simple black frame,
see if your framer has a black matte with yellow core!
Here's an example of the look:





It just adds an accent to the yellow in the poster!

I went on AmericanFrame, is there a utility to preview the print in different mattes? I thought that is what you meant, but couldn't find it on there. That would definitely be helpful.

Great idea about an colored core. I think he orders the mattes as necessary, so I am sure he could get it.

Looks fantastic Dave - absolutely fantastic. Waiting patiently for my Atlanta poster in the frame shop. Love that print and how it will turn out. The people in my frame shop were really excited to work on it and come up with something good. Should be done any day now. After that, will be getting the EV Vegas 1 Munk One poster done.....then moving on to EV Vegas 2 Klausen, and Bristow 2010. All in the frame shop waiting to get framed! Can't wait.
