Finally took pictures of the posters I had framed. They're an awesome way to decorate the house. And I love looking at them! They make me feel great! They're the next best thing to being there. Nothing like spinning the black circle surrounded by posters.

That's what my place is beginging to look like as well. AT first my wife was a bit irritated, but now she just lets me do it, of course I need to check placement with her first, but she is so wonderful and amazing to have about 17 Pear Jam posters hung up around the house.

  • ItIsAllAboutPJ - Badass collection friend!!! I love the Them Crooked Vultures poster and I need that Hartford one you have. I have a bunch to frame and low on funds right now, but hoping to buy a house in a year or so to have a nice place to display them all. I like how you did the same color mat for all of them so they all kinda fit together. That is one decision I cant come to yet...colored mats to match the poster or uniform mats to make them all fit together...ah decisions, decisions 8-)

Thanks! It's always a work in progress. It takes some contemplating to decide how to mat, but to provide continuity I use the same frame and matting configuration on all of the the posters. However, I have started coordinating the inner mat to the art and used the metallic outer mat to set apart the Gibson set. I used the same color on the TCV poster because it coordinates perfectly and is in the same room. And it looks really cool! I keep costs reasonable by ordering from http://www.framesbymail.com/ and assembling myself. (I can't afford the beautiful work The Hoff does. Props to the master framer!) I'm always finding more spaces on my wall. I even paint them with posters in mind.

Just got back my Berlin 2010-
Hard to tell in the photo but the inside gray matte has a texture that mimics the elephant skin.
    I'm liking it!

    Beautiful! :)

Is it only Europe & their festivals who get the best looking ticket stubs these day's? Last cool looking Pearl Jam ticket from North America I seen was during the No Code tour, I believe. Every tour after it's all same old text only (Ticketmaster, Live Nation) & a beer ad on the back. :|

Was it just the 10c people who made it in without getting their ticket stub ripped - or did I just have a mean gate woman? Think I'll have to frame my Berlin poster with the two tickets overlapping to make a whole one. :(

My girlfriend should be picking up my Hartford 2010 and the ACL 09 setlist from the framer's tomorrow...

Too bad I'm on the otherside of the globe and won't get to see them for another 2-3 weeks....

If she sends me some pics before then, I'll share....
